Reviews of NCTC Corinth Campus | North Central Texas College
"Great campus! Three levels! Friendly, professional staff! Parking is adequate! Security is good! Very professional knowledgebase instructions and instructors."
"I've been looking for a good community college for a while. I'll be the first person in my family to graduate, and I'm doing this alone, so this is all new to me. I really wasn't happy just trying to get basic information out of admissions or the advisors. They want you to decide on a course and be locked into applying before you can even speak to an anyone. All I could get was a tour, which was all of five minutes pointing at various closed doors. The rest of these google reviews seem to imply that you really just have to figure out everything on your own. Now look at the website for any of the Dallas colleges in the area and see how much more information is available to you before you even apply. Their tuition is pretty much the same too. You also don't get in-county rates at any NCTC school if you live in Denton county, so if you're outside of Cook or Dallas county, you're not getting in-county rates anywhere."
"i have not had a good experience when dealing with the advisors of this college. every time i went to go talk to them, i felt like they acted like i was bothering them just by being there. i always felt rushed, like they did not take the time to fully try to help me, instead they just wanted to hurry up and get me out of there. my boyfriend who use to go to this college has had complaints with the advisors as well. i also have had problems here and there with the college such as them overcharging me for things and messing up my classes. i have had no good experiences when trying to talk to someone or ask for help from this college."
"I am so sick of the advisors and lack of help. From the beginning of my time here at NCTC, I have had to figure out everything on my own because my first advisor registered me for classes I did NOT need for my major. Furthermore, due to everything happening due to COVID 19, we should be allowed to move to pass / fail if we choose as it says we are able to on the OFFICIAL website. But administration is not allowing for it REGARDLESS of the benefit that it would hold for some students. I am so fed up with this school. Some of the professors are lovely and that is the only reason for 2 stars."
"Anyone who has a disability and is allowed to test in the testing center should know that even when you make an appointment you have to wait 5 to 10 minutes now just to take a test. Your better off taking one in class now than going to the testing center anyway. When i first started their it was no problem but as i finished up it got worse never test in the testing center because it feels like the DMV. As for math professors avoid Keith Bailey for he is very very bad at teaching math and does not like to meet with you or honor disability accommodations. NCTC now has become more unorganized than ever and should be avoided."
