"My philosophy when I first started dancing at Arthur Murray almost 2 years ago was "if it isn't fun, I'm not doing it!" I am sill here! Ian has a caring, compassionate, concern for each of his student's comfort level with the steps. He patiently explains each step and the philosophy behind it. He genuinely wants his students to feel good about their skills before stepping onto the dance floor. The wealth of knowledge that he has acquired after 14+ years of teaching with Arthur Murray is amazing. Julian, well he is a whole nother story! He is young, high energy and exuberant. Julian will be your biggest cheerleader! He makes dancing fun while you're learning. He is intelligent, articulate and precise. Bennett, the manager, gives the place that warm and fuzzy feeling. Her presence adds to the family atmosphere so much because she takes the time to know all of the dancers and treats them as if they were a part of her family (She is the mother hen of the group!). Needless to say, I love being there and I so appreciate the people there. These times are so uncertain but Arthur Murray is a constant, always aware of and following CDC guidelines for safety."

"We started taking lessons about 15 months ago in preparation for our wedding. Lesson night quickly turned into our favorite night of the week and our "date night". The staff and instructors are world class and a ton of fun too! (Shout out to Bennett, Ian, and Julian!) They made us feel comfortable even though we were as "beginner" as you can get! We've moved up to the first Bronze level, but still have a long way to go to reach our dance goals! 2020 brought a lot of trials .. we postponed our wedding until 2021 and went on lock down with everyone else. When the studio said they were going to open for private lessons with precautions in place, we didn't hesitate even for a second! They made sure everyone felt safe, wore masks, maintained social distancing, and still had a good time! We look forward to things being back to normal, but in the mean time, we have our private lessons at AMD Grapevine to give us a little bit of normal in a world of crazy."

"The Dallas area Arthur Murray Studios are fantastic. I have taken lessons and classes at all three locations (Plano, Dallas, and Grapevine). My daughter started at the Plano location at 5 years old and still loves it at age 15. I've been there almost 4 years and wish I had started sooner.
