Reviews of Dierbergs Markets - Four Seasons
"This is one of my least favorite Dierbergs locations. I avoid it whenever possible. Cons: Tiny produce department Whole Life options are limited and scattered throughout store Fewer plant based choices than at other Dierbergs Smaller location with fewer choices overall; frustrating when you’re used to what a standard Dierbergs carries Pros: Friendly staff Clean store Convenient location Not much produce available, but what’s there is in good shape/fresh"
"This location has been my local grocery store for at least the last 15 years. The produce is fresh and the workers are friendly. Great for us early risers, too, since they open at 6 am."
"Got chicken from the deli that all 6 pieces were raw at the bone . Not really a wide variety. Definitely more expensive . I bought the exact same food item at a schnucks less than 3 miles away from each other. There was a $2 plus some change , difference in price . And usually dierbergs market are a bit more expensive but the quality is on point . Not this one ."
"Too expensive unless they have something on sale. They have all these weird stuff on-sale, like buy4 packs of meat for $20, ..so you don't know what the per pound cost is of the meat. The last time I went there, I bought a box of Zesta crackers to have with my soup. When it came time to eat, one day later, they were stale. One of the things I find inedible is stale crackers!!!!! Should have taken them back, but just not worth my time. I shop Schnucks or Wally world, and no stale crackers purchased there yet."
"I’ve got to agree with the other disappointed customers. We’ve lived near this store for seven years, and I have to be desperate before I shop here. Yes, the employees don’t acknowledge you and seem bugged you’re there. And yes, their prices are inexplicably high. But what frustrates me the most is that they operate in a way that communicates a puzzling lack of concern for the customer experience. My favorite example is they lock one set of doors at an unpublished time but don’t put a sign out. So you get a constant stream of people parking near the door and walking up only to find out that the entrance is closed. It’s hard to see elderly folks walking along side of the building with no sidewalk in a high traffic zone in cold weather for 50 yards to the other door and repeating the trip with a full cart. Would a sign be too much trouble?? As it stands, you’re communicating, ‘we don’t care’ before you step in the building. Tonight, I experienced another head scratcher that needed a sign. I came in for potatoes but was treated with this mystery (see image). Were the potatoes spoiled, shy, unsightly, resting, mourning the loss of another spud? Who knows? I would have asked an employee or even another customer but the store lacked both. Again, why are you not thinking about the customer experience? It seems so simple… maybe it’s not. This is a really strong and loyal community who needs a grocer that serves its needs yet I don’t know anyone in our neighborhood that shops at the store that’s less than a mile away. Dierberg family, either sell the store to someone committed to our area or transform it. Inaction is poor stewardship of your resources and influence."
