"They updated the inside and more it looks so nice and the customer service is way better"
"I walked into this store and it looked as if a mob ran though it during the End of Days. The employees were lack luster at best. I was compelled to look at the expiration dates on the food products I picked up to purchase. I decided why bother and left without purchasing anything. I went in once and that's enough for a life time!"
"It's one of the worst family dollar stores in Peoria. The hours are inconsistent and the people that work at this store are always closing the store super early without giving notice to the customers . The store runs out of a lot items , the store is very pricey to shop at. The aisle are very cluttered and unorganized. The workers are rude and uncaring. The people that work there always close the entire to take their smoke breaks, and on top of that the store is sometimes short on cash . I hate this store. And the workers are lazy. Please consider shopping at better stores , but avoid this dumpster fire on Wisconsin shopping plaza. Garbage store with trash employees"
"I went to make a purchase & there was 1 register open. The manager & cashier were talking as she made a drop. I stood in line as they discussed a shortage, drawer opened & they looked. They never made eye contact with us as they had dialog. They never acknowledged us in line. I got annoyed put items back and realized the door was locked. They just confirmed it was locked. Never apologized for inconvenience. The line of people outside had no idea what was going on and one lady cursed and left. Sloppy customer service. The one young Black man that was stocking the shelves apologized as he stood in line to pay for items. In fact he apologized several times for the rudeness if both assistant managers"
"A couple words of advice if you're going to shop at this Family Dollar. Call first if you're going there in the morning. I don't know how many times I've walked the 9 blocks up there in the morning and they just decided they weren't going to open at the listed 8 am. They never give a reason, and never warn you ahead of time. Second, if you're going there for bread or milk, go somewhere else. Unless you just happen to walk in, assuming they're open, right when they're stocking the items, you will probably find they are out of stock. Other than these points, it's your basic dollar store. Update: It's Sunday. I need some milk and other stuff so I decide to be up there at 9 am when they open. Once again, there is a group of people sitting outside and when I get up there, they are not open. Whoever was scheduled hasn't bothered to show up yet. I talked with the other people waiting and they all said this is not a rare occasion. I knew better and still I tried. So I walked back home and someone else will get my money."
