"I was very impressed by the reviews I read online and decided to stay here over the other hotels in town. When I arrived, it was just as I expected. An extremely nice, budget hotel, with the basics (clean rooms with updated decor, tv, beds, tables n chairs, fixtures, microwaves, fridges, and bright white fresh bedding and towels) oh, and a pretty good spread for breakfast.) I will stay here everytime I come to town. It's not high priced where you feel robbed and it's not high priced where you regretted staying in a dump. It was perfect for me and my family's expectations. Best hotel in town!!! You will agree...I promise!!!!!"

"From the minute we drove in Friday eve, to our checkout on Saturday, we very much enjoyed our stay. Karisma's customer service was fabulous. The room was older but well taken care of and clean. We very much appreciated them being pet-friendly and our pup was comfy. We asked Karisma for a dinner suggestion and she directed us to the Packinghouse Dining Company, which is a must-go. "What a pleasant stay! Everything was well kept and clean. The staff were very polite and accommodating. This is the first hotel we’ve stayed at in the past 4 years that actually provides full make-ups including clean towels… like in the old days. Our son loved the heated pool. Very quiet and enjoyable hotel! We’ll definitely be back if we’re ever in Galesburg again."

"Booked three rooms, one night at the end of November. We needed a pet friendly hotel and found this one. The rooms were a mix of updated and old. The bed, TV, nightstand, desk, etc. were new. But the other furniture and bathroom was very dated, though clean. I did not realize this hotel had a courtyard. This was convenient for my sister, who was able to take the dog out directly from the room as opposed to walking him down the hall. However, I felt a little uneasy as a single person, especially since we were all spread out across the hotel and not near each other. The courtyard is not entirely enclosed so the amount of access made me a little nervous. But it looks like they added an additional latch to the sliding door that anchored into the wall (not latched all the way when I checked in, but I made sure to check it shortly after settling in) and I moved some of the furniture in front of it and felt better. I think the person in the room next to me was a smoker, because I heard someone out there a few times and caught a whiff of cigarette but nothing too concerning. Breakfast in the morning was good, it's held adjacent to their restaurant so plenty of seating. Check out was simple but the person at the desk was a little annoying about leaving a review. He seemed to want me to scan a QR code and leave a review right then and there. I get that reviews are important (hence why I'm leaving one) but being too aggressive about it can be detrimental."
