"I had heard from previous students about their experience with Faded, but I wanted to have my own experience. I decided to give them a chance despite what I had been hearing from the people around me. I had very long curly hair and made sure to call and ask if that's something they can cut- they said yes. When I arrived, the staff was very nice. I appreciated the conversation throughout, it made me feel better about the situation. I showed them a picture of how I wanted my hair, and the stylist did her best to get it there. My only thing is I felt like she didn't know what she was doing. She was kinda cutting here and there without a good plan. I felt like I had to have a lot of say in the direction that my hair was being cut. At a typical salon, you maybe give your input once? But I was really worried the way my hair was going and had to give a lot of input. Overall, uncomfortable experience. I left the salon looking pretty wack.. I can't even dare to share a picture, but I wanted to take a shower to see how it would really look. After the shower, I realized I actually liked the length on top, but the sides were so much longer than the rest of my head it made me sick. To add to that, one side is about an inch longer than the other. Anyways, I am going to look at getting a friend to fix up the cut or maybe even go to Great Clips to just shave everything down. I would think twice about coming here with long or curly hair. Save your $35 and find a place that is dedicated to curly hair."

"If I could give 0 stars I would. Do not come here for a haircut. Came to get a cut from Katrina and she just butchered my hair. I could have said anything when she asked what I wanted because she did not do a single thing I asked for. I asked for a slight trim on the top (1 inch off max) and she cut 3 inches off. Super sloppy and rushed; clearly just wanted to get me out and get back to whatever it was she was doing on her phone. Asked her to fade the sides and back to a 2 (she did a 3.5 - 4) and the fade was extremely uneven with patches of longer hair mixed into the areas where it should be shorter. I could have cut my own hair for free and it would look better. Save your $40, do not come here. Still yet to find a good barber in STL."
