"Save your money and time this is the worst nursing school ever! The staff here in specific nursing instructors belittle you, they aren't organized and they feel as if they have the right to raise there voice just cause they are nurses and you're not. Now currently a LVN working on my RN I graduated from STC.As a nurse I would never treat anyone like some of the instructors here. My grades here were 58 60 66 when asked for help tutoring was only 10 min per subject with other students in the room since instructors will only have 30 min to stay after school. How does that even help ? At STC my grades in the LVN program stayed for the whole year 86 88 90s , I had awesome instructors who didn't belittle you or tell you "your slow" but once you get it your good. Its not that I was slow its the way they taught here, that I wasn't seeing it in my grades.Cause if that was the case tell me why I had high A's & B's and passed my exams at STC? Tell me why on my finals I could literally score a very low grade and still make it on to the next semester because my average was really high. The majority of everyone at VGI for the LVN program was below 70s 60s and they would add random 100s on quizzes and hw to raise our grades, 100s that weren't even earned that's how bad there test scores are for exams here. At STC they don't do that you actually earn what you get and the instructors make sure to keep you engaged in class and participate.So here is living proof your not dumb, or slow, you don't deserve to be yelled at by anyone especially a LVN instructor ?? please.They know who they are if they see this only like 2 instructors who were actually nice and yes there is a difference between constructive criticism and nurses who eat their prey! You literally never knew what to expect from this school simply to tell you that during our last finals in level 3 which is the last semester they didn't receive a ATI coach for NCLEX on time. We where supposed to have the NCLEX live review a week before finals so MONDAY - FRIDAY but instead that same Friday we received it a week late and had to finish it in the weekend instead of studying for 4 finals. They told us it had to be done before our last finals which was the upcoming Thursday if not we couldn't graduate even if we passed finals.Monday came around we had finals Monday - Thursday after our last final there was students who didn't finish the ATI during the weekend and they extended it for them how is that fair ? These students still graduated and the ones that did it the weekend before finals because remember they said "you wouldn't graduate even if you passed finals and didn't do the ATI " flunked out. Very unprofessional program and staff!"

"I would not recommend going to this school the teachers are unprofessional and you never know what teacher is going to show up to teach the class that day. They do not have the proper equipment for you to practice in lab. All this makes it difficult to learn as if nursing school was not hard enough. Not to mention this school is very expensive."

"This school let me down in so many ways. They make you feel like a failure, they yell at you and belittle you I can only name a 3 teachers that helped me understand some nursing material. mrs. Benavides mrs. Trevino and Mr Villegas this is not for you all. I was promised tutoring for every class and that did not happen. When I was stuck on a question of problem. No one would take the time to help or they would lose their patience with me. I asked if there was anything I could do when I knew I was not pass a class all they would say is read the book and study like if did not do my part. I would learn from other nursing students instead of my “teachers”. Before I agreed to be apart of this school I had made it clear I was out of school for a long time and they promised that I would have the support from teachers to help me learn the material. If you really want to succeed in a nursing program. go else where. I do not recommend it ."
