From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted by a team of truly professional individuals who were dedicated to providing the highest level of education and training. The staff at the massage school demonstrated a wealth of knowledge that was truly impressive. They were not only well-versed in the theoretical aspects of massage therapy, but they also had a deep understanding of the practical application of various techniques. Their expertise was evident in every class and workshop, and I felt fortunate to be learning from such knowledgeable instructors. What truly set this massage school apart was the level of professionalism that permeated every aspect of the program. "This review is long overdue. I've been coming to Massage Masters for 8 months due to neck and upper back pain. I struggled with extremely tight trapezius muscles due to continuously working on a computer for hours everyday, including the weekends. My pain and discomfort was so severe that I sometimes was unable to extend my arms at the end of the day, suffered from frequent headaches, struggled to turn my head and was often restless at night as I tried to find a way to position my head and neck in a manner that would allow me to sleep comfortably. I thought my neck and back issues would improve over time, but it didn't, so I tried different options to relieve the pain. I tried muscle relaxers, Ibuprofen, orthopedic pillows, a store bought shiatsu massager, standing desks, Thermacare heat wraps, muscle rubs and pain relief creams. I tried stretches and exercises I researched on YouTube. I attended numerous visits with a chiropractor and tried other massage therapy locations. The other massage therapy places would leave me feeling like I had been squashed under a steam roller or in more pain than I went in with. I seriously thought I would need to take FMLA leave or resign from my job. But, when I came to Massage Masters, Leroy educated me on the muscular system and informed me that my back muscles were overworked due to my job duties. As soon as I started receiving the therapeutic massages at Massage Masters, my neck and back felt better, my headaches decreased significantly and I was able to continue to work and complete activities of daily living, such as driving. All the massage therapists here have been wonderful. I am so grateful for all their help. Leroy is very knowledgeable and skilled in his profession. Rebecca is also an amazing massage therapist. Massage Masters is a hidden gem neatly tucked away in the city of Pharr. I have incorporated massage therapy as part of my life and it continues to make a positive impact overall. "My first visit. I got a massage by a student Monday and it was excellent I believe his name was Joey. I hadn't had a massage in many years and he did everything right. I left very relaxed. He was not the person who checked me out. That person charged me $45 for a Swedish massage which online says is $35. It states a deep tissue massage is $45 He said the prices went up but they haven't got it changed on the internet yet. I don't think you should be able to raise your prices until you adjust your internet prices. My only complaint. I think the management should look into the update."
