"Best Kept Secret In Alton Area: This is a small, very nice, clean, modern movie theater located where Sears used to be a the Alton Mall. It's not visible and not advertised but it does the same thing the big theater in Edwardsville does - only closer. I found the theater to be a very positive experience. Excellent electric lounge chair seating with wide aisles. Very clean, well-designed. Staff were very friendly. Sound and video quality were excellent. Price was comparable to the Edwardsville, which is understandable. I created an icon on my computer for their web site. I plan to return when I see a movie I like. Nice theater!"

"Theater is clean, beautiful, and lovely all around. My family and I watched "Wonka" last Thursday, and it truly is a hidden gem! I highly recommend checking out the NCG if you ever find yourself in the area; you won't regret it! "

"Always love coming here. The seats are big and comfy, with plenty of room for other people to walk by even when you're fully reclining. Each chair has a little tray for your snacks. This was a couple years ago, but the power went out when we were 40 mins into Spider-man, and they gave us tickets to come back. When we did, they were thoughtful enough to ask if we wanted to hop into the theater that was 30 mins into the movie or the show that was about to start."

"Very nice, smaller theater. Comfortable, stadium-style seating with reclining seats and swivel tables for snacks. Clear projection and good sound. Caught a matinee and would definitely stop in for a future showing."

"I watched the Hunger Games movie 6:45pm last night. My first time ever at this establishment. The cashier at the register RUSHED me the entire time even though the line was moving fast and I was only in line for a few minutes. She cut me off several times while trying to look at the menu. We even explained we had never been there and wanted to see what the menu looked like. Since all they had was candy soda and popcorn. I couldn’t even suggest a candy for my girlfriend without her cutting me off and typing it in. Like give me a second they didn’t have any hot food items available. I sat in auditorium 7. Might as well had been 7.5 because you could hear everything happening in auditorium 8. Not sure if the booth person didn’t check the sound and or didn’t care. Either way my best advice is treat guest like Guest not customers. Be willing to help them and throw out suggestions when you feel the urge to rush people. Instead of rushing them the entire time."
