"BED BUGS DO NOT STAY HERE I don’t normally write any reviews, especially negative reviews. But this place messed up my life. The bed bugs were very hard to get rid of and they overcharged me more than 300 dollars and were nonresponsive to any requests for corrective action. Do not stay here"

"within an hour of my stay, here is everything wrong: pubes in beds, dirty carpet, used toilet paper, half used soap bottles, dirty pillows, broken tv, broken light button, dead bolt broken, and full size beds not queen. not to mention the hotel smells. also a $150 deposit when you get here. after switching rooms and still finding problems, i called the front desk and asked for a discount and was told “i can only give you 10% otherwise i have to tell my manager” if i could put 0 stars I would."

"Rooms were clean. Here on business. We were taken back when checking in. We had to put a 150.00 deposit plus our rooms. Never in the 18 years working on the road have I ever had to put a deposit down like that. We booked online. We only stayed 1 night and close to job site."

"We booked on an app, was told there may be additional fees, but not a deposit of almost the same as my room rate. When I told the person at the desk, he ran my card for the room and still asked for a deposit after. We were in the area for an event and had no extra cash, so we told him we would pay after the next days sales. We did not see a person at the desk after this point. We reserved and paid for a room with 2 queen beds, room had 2 full size. Had large cracks in the ceiling that were patched. With everything being booked solid, we had to stay and deal with it. I will not book nor recommend this place."

"First of all it is fantastic Galva has a hotel open again. I had to stay here for family funeral for 3 days and was not disappointed. You get what you pay for in Motel 8 chain's. this one is probably above average and very clean. Rooms are obviously minimalistic. Some things they can do better is leave more towels in room. 2 small towels for 2 people for 3 days. Also the clerk was not extremely friendly but we did encounter friendly staff. they oddly charged me up-front for room which was a bit unusual but didn't mind it. I would not hesitate to stay here again and the rates are fantastic. Great place to stay for Backroads music festival (almost can walk there!) plus other events in town. Good for workers coming to area. Nice place and again if you know what to expect with Super 8 chain's this is about par for course but definitely a good place to stop. Beds comfortable."
