School of Constructive Arts

The School of Constructive Arts, located at 1316 Snake Road in Alpine, Texas, is a unique institution dedicated to teaching regenerative design, building, and ecology through hands-on experience and experimentation. Our approach combines traditional knowledge of natural materials and energy with modern technology and building techniques to create sustainable living models for the present day.

Situated in the beautiful Big Bend region of West Texas, our campus serves as a laboratory for educational programs, research, and practical application of regenerative design principles. We offer workshops, residences, and land for students to learn and explore the intersection of art, architecture, and sustainability.

In addition to our on-site programs, we are committed to sharing our knowledge and innovations with communities beyond our campus. We are developing a services branch to collaborate with local partners on important projects in the Big Bend area and beyond. We also plan to publish media, share research, and provide resources online to increase access to our teachings.
