"It’s taken me five years to truly come to terms with the lack of care I experienced by Dr. Sherman and his team, more specifically HIS nurse I saw before every visit. For starters, pregnancy hit me like a ton of bricks. I was debilitated with migraines in the first few months. Couldn’t speak, eat or come out of a dark room (early sign of pre e). I knew I had it almost immediately and shared with him how i was losing feeling in my hands and feet before 20 weeks. My weight gain was rapid, my heart rate was so abnormal (jumping to 180-190 bpm while sitting) and I wasn’t going to the bathroom for at least 14 days at a time. Also, on the subject of not going, had the audacity to make me feel bad for not taking iron pills that were making my situation worse by saying “you must not care about your baby if you aren’t going to take the pills”. I had to see a prenatal cardio specialist due to my sons dad having a hereditary heart condition. The specialist recognized things and cared more for me than Dr. Sherman ever did. My iron dropped dangerously low. I was swollen 24/7 and my blood pressure was high. My pressure sits right at 100, so 150-160 is high for me but he brushed me off every time I brought up my concern. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. The cardio specialist put me on a beta blocker, HE gave me an iron transfusion and HE told me the gender of my son. Many visits went past an hour of wait time because his schedule was so jam packed and his nurse was so rude every single time I came in. I had to be rushed for an emergency c section, was knocked out with ketamine due to the anesthesia not working and then a day or so while still in the hospital after delivery again had the audacity to say “maybe you did have pre eclampsia” because I was STILL so swollen and couldn’t feel my hands and feet. Then at my 6 weeks appointment made snide comments about me not wanting to be put on birth control. He is a horrible doctor, runs a horrible practice and doesn’t care about his patients. Do NOT trust him to care for you or your baby! Not worth the risk, considering I could have died due to his negligence."

"I’ve been seeing Dr Sherman for the past 5 years as I was quickly approaching menopause. Eek! Dr Sherman and his team have been WONDERFUL! His bedside manner is unparalleled. He listens, he empathizes, he explains all options thoroughly and makes me feel like I’m cared for every single time. I highly recommend this practice and Dr John Sherman. Ive read the negative reviews and I have to giggle - kind of whining rather than real issues but I digress; this place is fantastic!!"
