"As a physician myself, I was so impressed. She makes private practice look easy. Thorough, sweet to a fault, and the office experience was seamless. My new Gyn. Ty!"
"Never had a doctor as good as her before. For 10 years I've been suffering and she was the first doctor to tell me what it was and how to fix it. The surgery went well. She did it fast and her staff helped walk through the payment clearly. She's friendly and her office is really nice. I reccomend her to all my friends."
"Dr. Prisacaru and her staff were very good to me when I needed them a few years ago. Her office is busy and she sees lots of patients, but she will make time for you and you may wait a little while and you may not spend as much time as you'd like with the doctor, but I had a great experience regardless. I was in discomfort and needed surgical procedures performed. Her assistant at the time was so understanding and intelligent and I felt like I was in good hands. Dr. Prisacaru understood my needs and helped me make some difficult decisions but all for my benefit. It was an emotional experience but she was so kind and thoughtful. I remember being scared right before my first surgery and when she came in to check on me I wasn't afraid anymore. She's an excellent surgeon, her credentials are impressive and it shows when you are her patient. I was healed and back to work after very short resting periods for both procedures she performed. There were no financial surprises, I was explained in great detail what was and was not covered by my insurance and was able to afford those costs. I no longer have severe abdominal discomfort and haven't for years, I feel free and healthy."
"As in Google reviews and in Zocdoc, sadly I would not recommend Dr. Prisacaru for labor and delivery services. For annual exams, you’ll never see her as often and the appointments are mostly on time...good luck. When I would go in for visits, there were times when I witnessed her being inpatient with others and was ultimately a victim first hand later on. She is a very knowledgeable and informed ob/gyn BUT she doesn’t take her time and is not always patient with you or answers all your questions more like to brush them off or say everything is fine. She’s always in a rush and now, after seeing another doctor, I found out she wasn’t providing the best care for me and my baby. She often times disregarded symptoms, for example during one week she wasn’t concerned with new and unexpected symptoms which eventually caused me to almost go into labor a little over a whole month early. Luckily I found help elsewhere. Without going into too much details, Dr. Prisacaru got upset when I sought emergency treatment, and I’ll never regret going that route. She down played my symptoms stating I was already tested, yelled at me for getting emergency help, and the results from the other provider confirmed Dr. Prisacaru was wrong in not looking further into my concerns. I never missed a visit, I always followed her referrals and recommendations and still she got upset when getting ER services one time late at night (which she admitted she wouldn’t have done anything). As mentioned in other reviews, she will delete your portal account if she terminates your relationship or if you choose to go with someone else. Save all the records before hand. If you’re on the fence, I would say find someone else. Emma, in billing, is always nice and friendly. The other staff are also helpful. I just want to warn you that at any point Dr. Prisacaru feels that you’ve made it on her bad side, she will do a 180, terminate the relationship or have a “good idea” to transfer you to someone else. I wish things would have turned out better but when explaining Dr. Prisacaru’s reactions towards me getting ER services in an emergency to other medical professionals, every single medical professional was either shocked and said they’ve never heard of someone being so upset OR they said they were not surprised that Dr. Prisacaru acted that way (because she has before)."
"I saw this doctor for a hysterectomy and although I have no complaints about the procedure, the doctors office was pushy with me from day 1. They made me pay for my surgery upfront, at my first visit, the same one where it was determined that a hysterectomy was needed. They told me if I wanted to wait to schedule at a later date (meaning pay upfront after figuring out best way to pay), I would also have to pay for another doctor's visit. I could not take a day to figure out how to pay, unless I paid for another exam appointment at her office. They convinced me to open a Care Credit card to pay for it, and when they rang it up, they inadvertently did it wrong, meaning I did not get the promotional zero interest they had promised. Instead, Care Credit immediately started charging 29% interest. It was a mess getting that straightened out with Care Credit, and I'm out another $45 for transferring the balance to a more trusted card. After surgery, I was charged another $250 due to some confusion with my insurance company. Should have been no big deal. The doctor's office called to let me know that payment would be due at my follow up appointment (scheduled later that week). I told them I was in the process of clarifying it with my insurance and they were very pushy about the money. So pushy that Dr Prisacaru herself called me, first to tell me that the insurance company wouldn't understand her billing but she was going to explain to me why I owed her that money. (Her explanation was incorrect, by the way.) She then tried to get me to postpone my follow up appointment until I was ready to pay her. I had already told her I had every intention of paying once I had clarified with my insurance that the billing was correct. I had a terrible experience with this doctor and the way she runs her office. They were pushy from day one, and I wish I would have seen somebody else. I DO NOT recommend this doctor. She is not concerned with her patients and has terrible people skills."
