"Dr Summers provided me with the worst medical care I've ever experienced. I had to go in for a D&C after a miscarriage, everything seemed fine, 10 weeks later I was still testing pregnant. I knew something was wrong with my body when I started having radiating pain from my uterus going down into my legs, and felt feverish. I called the office and told them that I think I was experiencing an incomplete D&C, I didn't even see Dr. summers during my appointment although she was in office. The doctor I was seeing asked her what she thought, and Dr. Summers said that there was absolutely no way she missed anything in surgery, and that I was probably just pregnant again. I continued to come in for testing several times, and I finally told them that there was something very wrong with my body as my symptoms continued. I had NO symptoms of pregnancy, but continued to go unheard. Finally I saw the Dr Summers, she told me that my symptoms sounded related to a fibroid that I had, and continued to check to see if my pregnancy hormones were going up or down. After more tests showing that my levels remained the same Dr. Summers then finally said it was in fact what I thought it was, and incomplete D&C (meaning she didn't get it all on the first surgery and left tissues behind (I very well could've gone septic and died) and that I would need to go in for another surgery immediately. I was told to not have anything to eat or drink the day of my surgery which was at 11 AM. Dr. Sommers showed up at 4 PM, by this time I was severely dehydrated. I was charged full price for the second surgery even though it was from her mistake. I woke up in the surgery center with my blood on me and the floor. The loss I had to go through, was extended 3 months longer than it needed to be. I felt uncared for, unheard, and my symptoms were not taken seriously. It seemed like she cared more about, covering up her own mistake, and was very arrogant through this process. Please seek better care before considering this dr"
