"**EDIT ** Besides the very rude response when I told her I’m uncomfortable with needles and her response was “well then you shouldn’t have gotten pregnant” in the very first meeting (this should be enough) I’m not too sure about the receptionist’s repeated failure to follow up with appointments or results. You’re told it’s your responsibility to call back for results and after I did call back for results Thursday afternoon she said she would call back after speaking with the doctor same day without giving any results. She did not call back and the office is closed Friday-Sunday. It’s my first pregnancy and I’m already feeling overwhelmed and I really don’t appreciate having to play chase with a doctors office. From the reviews this looks like normal treatment. And if that’s the way you run your office that’s perfectly fine but it’s not a fit for me. Edit: I’ve changed from 3 stars to 1 star because although they told me it would take 1 days to receive blood work it had been 2wks to received a call about my test results showing low progesterone. They called to say the doctor prescribed progesterone. I go to pick up the prescription next day and they haven’t sent it. I called their office while standing in the pharmacy. They said they sent it via fax again and that they didn’t have e-prescription like a normal doctors office. I left thinking that they would definitely send it this time. It has not been sent again. I call again at 4pm when the Google hours say they close 5pm and they are, again, not answering their phones. Dr states that the time they leave is inconsistent depending on “what they have going on”. It is so important to have consistency. And it is so important to hear these results asap instead it took 2wks to hear back from them about this important news. And they’re not taking it seriously. Dr Higginbotham is also is very condescending and refuses to take accountability. Talking over you and blaming the pharmacy for their fax machines being down or that I might have the wrong address for the pharmacy when I’ve confirmed twice. Then blaming me because I didn’t have a profile with cvs when I’ve had one since I was 15? If you’ve had problems with the pharmacy not receiving fax prescriptions before (many times before as she stated) because it’s not the 90’s then please invest in e-prescriptions. She said I might have to come in to grab the written prescription. It is 2023. She continues to restate the fact that she’s done this for a long time, and that’s great but this is a lot of women’s first pregnancy’s and she may be a little desensitized. She said that progesterone levels are not usually checked in early pregnancy and this is just not true. And if you’re going to check for it, it doesn’t do much if I’m given these results too late. Not everyone can run a business and this is one of those cases."

"Where do I start?? Whewww Dr Higgie hands down is the best, during my pregnancy in 2021-2022 she made the whole process soo easy for me! In the beginning I started scratching my head because I didn’t understand why she was what I considered so hard on me, but it was because she wanted nothing but the best for me and my unborn beautiful babygirl. Dr Higgie and her team is awesome I would definitely recommend. I mean from the beginning to the end she has been there and made sure she gave all the resources needed to become healthy and have a healthy pregnancy."
