"The rice was good!! I ordered ham fried, special fried and shrimp fried, special egg foo young ,and ham St. Paul for me and my family. I was afraid to order bc of the reviews and some reviews had that the rice has a burnt taste. The rice did not taste burnt. The only thing I will say they are pricey! I spent $68 and yes these were all whole orders"
"I've been eating from there for year's I don't know what's going on since the little sweet lady and her husband left the food has fallen off it's not as good as it use to be I bought food from there lastnight the ham was hard and the chicken wing's was dried out my daughter said her food wasn't good either I won't be going back."
"Customer service was excellent. He was very patient while taking my phone order, attentive when I arrived. The food was great besides crab Rangoon (little withered) but egg foo young, fried rice, St. Paul all was delicious! Only bad thing was the area, but I can deal with that."
"The Harlem Tap Room is a landmark in St. Louis city. It was there before I was born. Small little shot gun style bar. Everyone knows each other . And if you are a stranger, it will not be for long. Drinks are great. They don't serve food, but you can order out. Once a week, the provider prepares a small buffet for the regulars . Dart boards are there for your pleasure. And great music. There is security for the bar, and they will walk you to your car when leaving. Security was very visible inside and out. I felt safe . It was my first time at the Harlem Tap Room . The age group is 40"s and up, with a few younger people. But not enough to make you nervous if you like an older crowd. Just a neighborhood k8nd of bar."
"Service was very friendly and fast -- and for $6.50 I got fried rice, two crab rangoon, an egg roll, and a can of Vess. I'm subtracting a star because the crab rangoon were old, too hard and crunchy on the outside, and a little lumpy and tough on the inside. I plan on coming back without ordering the crab rangoon."
