"The last time my daughter got her hair cut here, it was totally uneven and lopsided. I did not notice until I was brushing it out after her shower, because she has very thick, curly hair. At my last cut, I asked if my hair could be blow-dried and straightened to make sure the cut is even, because I also have curly hair. I was told it would be $40, so I said never mind. The stylist said she could still blow dry it, just not style it. I asked if she could use a diffuser. She looked for one, found it, but did not use it. She told me she has curly hair and she knows how to dry it properly. She put product in and scrunched, but she used a regular blow dryer on full blast and raked her fingers through, fraying the curls. She let me leave the salon looking like this—a frizzy mess. I didn’t complain because I was too embarrassed. She could plainly see how awful I looked, though. I might just have to bite the bullet and pay the high prices for stylists who specialize in curly hair. Never going back to this place again.
