"I had my siding installed in March 2000 and I was satisfied with it and even when I noticed something minor while they were installing it, they resolved it. I was surprised that they included exterior lights and garage in their claim to insurance company. They replaced my old garage door with insulation to a door with no insulation, i called them back to insulate my garage door and they did. So, let it be a warning for others to check all details in your contract. I actually prefer the old door, this seemed like a cheaper quality. Anyway, Tashin is a good salesman, he can persuade and has more patience, it took nearly 1 yr to convince me and sign the contract. After a while, i noticed a few things, a bat flying inside our house and water leak. I called them to check if there were any gaps that could have caused the bat to enter. They couldn't find anything and I haven't seen anymore bats in the house. The reason for water leaks is because the doors and windows capping wasn't done properly. So make sure DON'T GET YOU EXTERIOR WORK DONE IN COLD SEASON. I had to go around and caulk myself and fill the gaps with foam around the windows. Lately, I also noticed that the gutters weren't installed properly either."

"Did a portion of my insurance claim,painting home and garage door replacement being the primary repairs, and overall had a positive experience. The only thing holding back a 5 star is the communication. I recommend requesting everything written or documented in some manner. I went over the paint color i wanted numerous times and had to bring up certain repairs several times because almost nothing was written down. I requested a written contract be itemized so we were on the same page with what was being done. Again, overall positive experience but as a homeowner protect yourself by having everything in writing."

"One of their salespeople told me Lakeshore wouldn't do the job because it was only $3k+. I made the mistake of working with their own personal company they wanted to collect the money on, who mislead me on what could be fixed, then replaced the WRONG gutter, and gave me an excuse negating the original quote details where they were said they could address it. That's on me, but when I pointed out that dishonesty, the Lakeshore salesperson suggested a sketchy way to fix it UNDER Lakeshore's business, hence their misdirection to work with their side company upon initial inspection was on purpose. It just makes me not trust the whole operation and who is working there."

"Avoid this business like plaque. Our HOA did a few quotes for wooden porch stairs repair, and finally chose Lakeshore as they first would presented you with seemingly organized projects/quotes in all efforts they could (from their “sales rep Tahsin” in our case). 1. Tahsin would presented himself as very much “sales person” and talk you into trusting their business. Part of the reason we went with their business was due to their competitive quote - who knows they has artistically make their client stuck with them and asking for more cost? Here's what happened - Once we signed the contract in early September, they started the work. After they been working for 3 days in our property, they only to tell us that they need additional $4000 when in fact they could’ve inform us five days prior instead of waiting until they complete half of our porch repair and left us no choice. The unpleasant surprise could have been avoided on Day #1(9/9), instead of five days later on 9/14. 2. Tahsin handle money only – it was clear to us that he appeared very pushy when we were deciding whether to sign the contract and move forward, once we signed, the flow became waiting for a whole week for an email response. 3. Contract was not made clear and dishonest in putting in the listed breakdown. We had to consult with an attorney for the detailed items. 4. Last but not least - here’s how we know they are dishonest: When we couldn’t find Tahsin last month (Oct 2022), we had to call their company several times to verify the phase of our project. Project manager “Manny” and another manager Carmen told us in fact this is the 1-day work, when in fact in the contract Tahsin presented us was 2-day Labor – total labor cost of $1500. We are getting various information and it was clear to us that it was very un-organized builder. This is absolutely not a business we would hire again, let alone trust. Not to mention the poor quality work (see pic) and that they left a mess on our balcony without cleaning up (see pictures) until we have to continue calling them. Everything aforementioned has supporting documentation. All in all, after TWO months (Sep 2022-Nov 2022), our porch was finally done repairing. This was the worst experience that our HOA has ever need to deal with. Be aware."
