About the Taylor Park
Taylor Park, located in Oak Park, Illinois, United States, is a popular tourist attraction and recreational spot for locals. Originally known as "North Park," it was renamed in honor of Henry A. Taylor, the first President of the Park Board of Commissioners. Designed by Jens Jensen, the park still showcases some of Jensen's original design elements.
Visitors to Taylor Park can enjoy a variety of amenities including a soccer field, six tennis courts, a sledding hill, restrooms, and a tot lot playground apparatus. There are also two picnic areas available for rent, making it a perfect spot for gatherings and events.
Situated on the edge of a moraine from the remains of glacial Lake Chicago, Taylor Park offers a picturesque setting for outdoor activities and relaxation. Whether you're looking to play sports, have a picnic, or simply enjoy nature, Taylor Park has something for everyone to enjoy.

Reviews of Taylor Park
"Beautiful little park good for toddlers."
"Today was a perfect day to pull out the sleigh, my niece and I had a wonderful time. We meet a few families who were out as well enjoying this beautiful day."
"If I had to describe the perfect American park... I would describe Taylor Park. Tennis courts, climbing rocks, grills, picnic tables, concrete cornhole set, party shelter, bathroom house, and the list goes on."
"This is a great park in North Oak Park with lots to do( Soccer, Tennis, Walking/Jogging)This park is close to 800 meters long. Therefore 2 laps around the perimeter would be close to 1mile long. They have bathrooms there. I also like the neighborhood and feel safe around the park."
"Very cute small park that has something for younger and older kids. Not well suited for kids under 2 as the climber is pretty big too. I brought a 2 and 4 year old and they had a great time. Equipment: One medium sized play structure for 2+. A seesaw. 2 baby swings. A large web climber for older kids 5+."
