"My friends and I enjoy bowling, but this place isn't a good place to enjoy a nice night of bowling. For starters, the music at night is WAY too loud. Second, there are people there that don't follow bowling etiquette. I had a 2 hour reservation for me and my friends, while the people next to us rolled 3 balls back to back, which caused a pin to jam the ball return. Which made everyone wait for almost 30 minutes for maintenance to unjam everything. It's a shame Oak Forrest Bowl burned down, because they had a way of keeping your bowling experience great! If you want to actually bowl and have a good time, you're better off paying $10 per game at Tinley Bowl."
"our lane was constantly malfunctioning…ruined our fun and didn’t wanna keep bothering the staff (who happened to be very rude) to reset our pins. the buttons regarding resetting/the reset button itself didn’t work, so asking them to do it manually was our only option. when asked if we could extend our time due to the constant inconveniences, we were treated with disrespect and they seemed to try to find any reason to not let us extend our time. a refund would’ve been preferred. glad I have better bowling alleys to spend my money on."
"Had my daughters party here and reserved 6 lanes for 2 hours for my guest. Staff was very rude with an attitude and not accommodating at all. Any simple question got answered rudely and with an attitude. I asked if I could get a jump and enter the names on the lanes a few minutes early since I had 6 lanes and knew it would take some time. I was rudely told no and would not be able to do so until my 2 hours started. As my 2 hours began, I was told the bumpers on 3 of 6 lanes given to me were not working, this is not ideal for a kids party and then I had to reassign the players on each lane due to the bumpers not working. After our party began, we asked what time the Pizza and Pop would be out, we were met with an attitude and told 5:45. When we asked if we could get the pitchers of pop now since our guest had started bowling we were rudely told everything comes out at 5:45. For the amount of money paid, you'd think the staff would be more accommodating to a large party and treat guests kindly and with respect. Definitely will not be having another party here, not due to the malfunction of lanes, but because of the customer service and way I was spoken to by the staff."
"Horrible Customer Service. The woman at the front desk was very snobby and just plain rude to us. This was our first time here so of course we don’t know the regulations of the place. We asked questions because different establishments have different rules. We asked for help to add players and it took them forever to put them in which took away from our time. We called in advance to make sure our party was sat next to each other, but when we got there she would not accommodate us although I could see each of our reservations stacked on top of one another together. We decided as a collective we will never return to this bowling alley nor recommend it to anyone. Mainly because of the lack of customer service."
"This place was nice. Me and my son met my mom, who was already bowling there. They had food and maybe 7 mini games for the kids to play and their bathrooms were not bad at all. However the price to bowl for 2 hours for 2 people and 1 pair of bowling shoes was 74 dollars, which seems a little high. In all we had fun and when my mom finished with her game she came over and bowled with us."
