"Great little oasis in the middle of a bustling city. Lots of green space and big trees. It seem bigger than it is and makes you feel you’re out in the country. Awesome place to get away from it all."
"Amazing playground! New ropes course and rubber mounds were fun. Can't wait to come back when the water play area is turned on. Also, on our bike ride through Riis Park, we saw a turtle, baby ducks and geese, and beautiful restoration sites. Will be riding here again soon."
"I have been coming to this park since my childhood. Although that was over twenty years ago, I still visit this park from time to time. My most recent visit was this weekend. I wanted to take my son sledding to try out his new sled, and was looking for a park with decent hills. I remember sledding here once before, and I cannot believe I did not think of this place sooner. I searched yelp to find places for sledding, and this was one if the results. There are a good amount of people that gather here to go sledding when it snows but it is never overly crowded. The hills themselves are not very steep but they are a decent size. These hills are perfect for younger kids trying to get used to sleds and looking to spend some time in the snow before graduating to bigger hills. It is also conveniently located across the street from the brickyard shopping center. There are lots of stores for shopping and restaurants for eating with the family after everyone is exhausted. If you're looking for a place to spend a snow day, this place is perfect. I know I'll be returning tomorrow for more sledding."
"I've visited this park for a few years, either to run or as last year we came to see the Cuban fest and the place is big. The park has an outdoor pool and in the winter it is converted to Ice Skating. There is plenty of parking inside and as well as street parking. There is also a small lake so you can just walk around it."
"The playground is in desperate need of updating. There are cracks on the slides, craters of water where the swings are, and literally a rope holding together a ladder where kids climb."
