"Dr. Magsino is the most wonderful doctor I have ever met. Her staff and medical team were also great. Dr. Masgino has a specialty in minimally invasive surgery as well. I highly recommend Dr Magsino!"
"Dr. Magsino is the best OB I have ever been to. During my pregnancies I had problems, and she was with us every step of the way. I had to have an emergency surgery because of an ectopic pregnancy that was life threatening and she kept me calm and kept me alive. She goes out of her way to make me feel comforted and supported, and I cannot thank her and her staff enough. Life savers for me."
"I called a few weeks ago to set an appt. Person who assisted me took all my insurance information. I specifically asked (because I had new insurance) if they can check if I’m covered prior to my appt. She stated they check and will call back to inform if I am not. They decide to call me two days before my appt (which I’ve already had to wait for for 2-3 weeks) to let me know I’m not covered but they can still help me. Why would I go to a place that doesn’t cover me and pay out of pocket when I have insurance? Now I have to spend time looking for another doctor plus waiting more time to be seen because you guys decided to wait 2 days before my appt to tell me I’m not covered. I should’ve taken note of previous reviews of the lack of care and customer service you guys provide."
"I am always in and out and everyone is pleasant and communicative. I love the in-office lab for quick results in my portal! Dr. Magsino is always so nice. Overall a great experience."
"In response to the owners response. This was not a miscommunication. I stated to staff I would need to call my insurance company and I would call back before end of day. Whoever I spoke to stated it has to be before end of day and I assured staff that I will call back promptly. I called back shortly after, not even an hour later to be told I was canceled. Vindictive behavior for no reason. Saying it was a miscommunication is a lie and disrespect to my intellect. I recently had a disappointing experience with the scheduling of my prenatal care appointment at your facility. I had made the appointment last month, and everything seemed to be in order until I received a call today. During the call, I was asked if I would be self-paying for the appointment. This caught me off guard, as I had already discussed my insurance information with one of the staff members, either Gladys or Veronica, and assured them that I would get back to them with the necessary details. To make matters worse, when I called back to clarify the situation, the staff member I initially spoke to, Yesenia, had no knowledge of the cancellation. This lack of communication and coordination among the staff is concerning and has left me feeling frustrated and uncertain about the level of care I can expect from this facility. As someone who was planning to transfer from another office, where my pregnancy has already been confirmed, this experience has made me question whether this is the right place for me to receive the prenatal care I need. However, I understand mistake can be made, after all we’re human. So I am willing to still see this through being that you have phenomenal reviews throughout the internet. I sincerely hope that the management of Optimum Women’s takes note of this review and takes the necessary steps to address the issues I have raised. Clear communication and proper coordination among staff members are crucial in providing quality healthcare services, especially when it comes to prenatal care. I would appreciate it if the facility could rectify this situation promptly and ensure that such miscommunications do not happen in the future. Expecting mothers deserve a smooth and stress-free experience when it comes to their prenatal care, and I hope that my concerns are taken."
