"It's a beautiful park. With a natural land restoration project taking place. It has some of the biggest slides in the area for kids and also a skate park. The kids love it."
"This place is amazing. We actually live closer to another park, but the is a lot of unattended teenagers causing trouble in that one, so we decided to try Bowen and it will now be our go to park. There is so much to do, it's clean, bathrooms on site and plenty of benches to sit on. Us, everything is generally in one area, so sitting on one bench I was able to see each on of my 3 children, regardless of what equipment they were on. Love it."
"Although I'm prone to hyperbole, this had to be the best playground in Illinois. It has a splash pad which kids of all ages love. It has a huge jungle gym climbing teepee type thing that goes up at least 25 feet. It has another climbing structure that leads to several sides. Swings are great. Parking is easy and ample. A lot of places to sit and relax/eat/picnic. Again, great great playground. Also great for Pokemon Go."
