"My children attend McGowen. We loved the staff members, teachers, and Principal Whitaker. He is a proactive principal for the parents, teachers/staff, and students. Their Special Ed department has been awesome with my daughter. And I'm eager to have my son in that program because I know it's a great program. The students in the school have a lot of behavioral issues. It makes it very hard for the teachers to teach the lesson because they are constantly dealing with behavior. The administration is great when it comes to handling issues from a parent's perspective. Overall, MGowen has come a long way since my daughter first started there. I am very pleased with the change from the administration."
"We waited to get into 21st century after school program, but didn't get in. The previous year we were ask 2 put children in 2 keep program. This year they let the family know it was full. I felt we were misled."
