"My daughter is a patient of Dr. Novak and has been since she was 17; she is now 22. When she was still a minor, I would go to her appointments with her. Dr. Novak has always been very thorough and listens when you have a problem. Like most doctors, she has a very busy schedule. We have had some issues with staff and trying to get a message through to Dr. Novak or one of her PAs. People that have posted negative reviews are talking about the staff and not the doctor."

"Dr. Novak is amazing! She wasn’t able to deliver my daughter, but she made sure my emergency birth was done as smoothly as possible. If she wouldn’t have planned it out the way she did with the doctor on call, I would have probably had to have a c-section. She is amazing and smart and so caring!"

"Worst OB I’ve ever had. Her inability to take care of me after my first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage caused me to go to the hospital with sepsis. This office does not follow up with patients and makes excuses for not contacting you. They didn’t give me instructions on how to care for my body after my miscarriage and never scheduled a follow up appointment. There’s plenty of better OBs in San Antonio to choose from. Choose someone who puts your health first and takes the time to check on you and educate you. Thankfully, I went to the ER where I received the care I needed. I could have died if I didn’t."

"Was a patient of Dr. Novak’s for pregnancy. Hour+ long wait times to be seen for 5 minutes. At one apt they said she was at a delivery and would be back soon. 2 hours and 45 mins later they told me that she “had a meeting” and wouldn’t be coming after all so I had to see a nurse. Worst part was she was IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of for A MONTH. I had an issue with paperwork and her staff repeatedly told me that she was aware and it wasn’t incorrect. They would never let me speak with her or email her. Finally a month later when I saw her at my next apt she said that no one had made her aware of the issue. I had TWO apts cancelled because she was out of the office and her staff doesn’t call in advance. They just let you show up and expect you to be fine seeing any doctor or nurse in the office. Another time a nurse of hers told me in a condescending tone “working out could put me into preterm labor and was dangerous for my baby” even though I was only in my second trimester, had a normal/healthy pregnancy and worked out regularly before and during the pregnancy. Looking for a new doctor."
