"I don't know where to start. I had my first experience in2015 when I went for an OB appointment to find a solution for my extreme pain. Dr Garza immediately suggested exploratory surgery. After almost 15years of pain (which I thought was normal), his suggestion for surgery seemed so logical, I wished nothing but to be free of pain. I must have seemed desperate because when I asked for information of my xpected surgery, he wrote down the technical term for the operation & told me to Google it! Dr Garza scheduled me for a laporscopic surgery in Feb of 2016, like I said I was desperate for relief and went forward with the procedure without knowing anything about this doctor. Dr Garza suspected I had endometriosis & so did I. After doing research on endometriosis, I learned that several women took years to get surgical relief. I knew I was going to regret my choice when I saw how unapproachable most of the staff was. Pre-op, Dr Garza didn't show much compassion for my fears or vulnerability of strangers digging in my vagina and holes in my gut while I'm knocked out. I blew him off in hopes he was having in a bad day. Day of operation Dr Garza was the same, I was put under without any prompting, i woke up before I knew it and was on my way home in no time. Post op, 7days of extreme pain, 7 days off unreturned calls & intense bleeding. Dr Garza suggested the depo shot to ease my endometriosis pain in the post surgery time frame. He DID NOT disclose the dangers of the shot. Dr Garza neglected to inform me that this birth control would make my fibroid grow in size due to the intake of hormones. Long story short, I bleed for 9mo straight, Dr Garza refused to return my calls requesting inform regarding my condition."

"Total disaster. It took three times for the staff to change my contact number from my daughter’s, who is listed only as emergency contact. Staff in the SA office was a disaster. From scheduling a mammogram to pre-colposcopy protocol, total disorganization. Furthermore, my post op care from the Leep procedure has been subpar. Avoid this procedure at all cost. Excesssive bleeding and depression has been chalked up by the doctor as the “healing process”. At this week’s follow up, I was told 3-4 weeks recovery, now 6-8. My new normal is a nightmare. The doctor got his cut from probably an unnecessary surgery, and I am left confused about my future outcome."
