"Fun place but as per one of the workers, they only clean 4 days a week ( M-Th) one maybe twice a day. My kid and every I've taken there has gotten sick everytime we go."

"Today I witnessed my 4 year old escorted out of her own birthday party by 4 police officers, alongside 12 other children under the age of nine. My daughters got to be introduced to the impact of racism and abuse of power first hand before I could teach them the harsh realities of the world. If you want a place that treats you with any dignity or respect, this is not the place. We were treated like criminals due to Samantha, the manager being upset that my mother in law, who is a Ukrainian refugee could not fully understand English. After my husband tried to explain this, she proceeded to berate them both and saying that "she is the manager and she can kick us out if she wants." Ten minutes later we were surrounded by police officers telling us we need to pack everything up and leave. To look into the eyes of my 3 girls and her classmates, they were devastated and confused. I have never experienced this level of disrespect in my life. Choose any establishment but this place. UPDATE: this establishment has decided instead of righting their wrongs, they will now create fake accounts to spew false allegations. My husband and I are educators in the community and this is disheartening. Do better Kids Empire, do better."

"Such a lovely, cool & fun place! Even for the adults. Very colorful & clean. My boys had a blast here along with some friends. They didn’t snag to leave. :) They did sell some snacks & drinks. Very spacious as well, we had a great time. Didn’t have any issues with the staff- I did read some bad reviews about that, but we didn't encounter any issues."

"This place is really great. The staff is very helpful & I always see someone cleaning the surfaces. Bring my grandson every other week & stay 2-3 hours. What’s nice is you can leave for lunch & come back anytime the same day before they close for the same admission price."

"I recently held a birthday party for my daughter at Kid's Empire of Mundelein, Illinois, on January 13. While the party itself was fine (we did not get enough drinks towards the end), the conditions of the parking lot and the sidewalk in front of the establishment were dangerous and unacceptable. It looked as if neither the parking lot nor the sidewalk had been shoveled at all after the significant snow we received a day prior. At least one of my guests' cars became stuck in the parking lot and we had to push her out. Additionally, because the sidewalk in front of the door was not shoveled, the carpet directly inside the establishment was soaking wet, making it very uncomfortable to change your shoes as is required before entering the play area. I have attached pictures so you can see how terrible things were. When I asked the supervisor for an explanation, I was told the contracted snow removal service did not show up and was generally greeted with a shrug. I find this explanation unacceptable as there could have been injuries. As a business, Kid's Empire has a duty to provide for the safety of their guests. Someone in authority should have found another solution if the original service providers are not available. The play area inside is fine, but I don't understand why the management team cares so little about the safety of their customers and the children visiting the establishment."
