"Dr. Allsup is great and I wish things were different but her office staff no. I never get a call back no matter how many voicemails I leave for the medical assistant. I call the front desk and they have no urgency for anything. I voiced my concerns and let them know I really needed medical advice and that I had been leaving voicemails since Thursday it is now Monday. She asked for my information then I got placed on hold for 20 min. While waiting someone came to the phone and disconnected it. I called back 4 times just for it to be sent to an answering machine. I called from a different number and someone immediately picked up. I let her know I wanted to speak to a manager since I was on hold for 20 min and it took me calling from a different number for someone to answer. She said well who were you on hold for? I said I’m not sure I wasn’t even told I would be placed on hold. She said more than likely it was the medical assistant but she is not in yet. I asked then why didn’t someone tell me that before placing me on hold and then disconnecting then continuously letting my calls go to the answering machine? She then asked for my information again, placed me on hold and the medical assist Who “wasn’t in yet” answered. I am considered high risk and there is no concern."
"While I absolutely loved the care I got from Dr . Allsup, their billing side is absolutely predatory. They charge you your deductible up front, but don’t actually file with your insurance until after you deliver. This causes any care you need from other doctors to not reflect having your deductible met and essentially have to pay your deductible twice. While this is a common practice with some obgyn offices, other non predatory, non greedy, trustworthy offices will refund you the deductible after when they file and see that you have already met your deductible. This office did not do that. I called my insurance to ask them about it after 6 months of not getting my refund. They said to expect a refund from the office and I should be getting it soon since the end of year happened and they should be balancing their books. A few more months passed and nothing. I then got covid and proceeded to deal with a bunch of other issues that I had to deal with which caused me to forget about the refund. After waiting a year for my refund, I called the office asking them about it. They said that their accounts do show I have a credit in my account and that they would send it over to their cpa to get a check written for me for the amount I over paid. She said I should be getting a call from them I. Two weeks to come get my check. Three weeks go by and I call because I haven’t receive any notification from them. The billing lady completely “forgot” to send it over to the cpa. Said she would get that done now and to expect a call in 2-3 weeks. 3 weeks later I get a call from them saying that they unfortunately couldn’t give me my money at this time because there was an error in billing and they had to refill with my insurance and couldn’t give me anything until after they had heard back from the insurance. So first they know I have a credit on my account for over a year and instead of sending it back like a trustworthy honorable office would, they just kept it and wouldn’t have done anything about it if I hadn’t called. Then, when I finally inquire about my refund, they “forget” to send it over to the cpa. Then, when they finally do they “discover and error in billing” and can’t give me my money until they refile and hear back from my insurance. What’s gonna be next? Their cpa is on vacation for a month and that’s why I can’t get my $2100 back? DO NOT use this office if you care about your money, they’ll do everything in their power to keep money they aren’t due."
"Dr. Allsup is amazing. She doesn't dismiss anything ever and wants you to have all the facts. She delivered my 1st child and everything went smoothly through the entire pregnancy. I have seen her for over 5 years and do not plan on going to anyone else anytime soon."
"Dr. Allsup was phenomenal. My wife just moved to Texas for her fellowship and every other OB was denying her care because they don’t take new patients past 20 or 30 weeks of pregnancy. Dr. Allsup was the only one who agreed to take her. Later we found out that our Aurora was part of our insurance’s expanded-network (insurance will not pay for a lot of the care), and Dr. Allsup recommended other OB’s who are in-network. Who does that!?"
"I have been with Dr. Allsup for nine years. She is an excellent doctor. She has a great bedside manner, great listener and fully explains any/all procedures in detail. Plus, her staff is very polite and professional too. They quickly schedule my appointments and never leave me waiting in the lobby more than 15 minutes. Highly recommend her to all my friends and family."
