"I had a HORRIBLE experience with Dr. Lansdowne. I don't even know where to start. It's almost 6 months later and I'm still upset. He isn't my doctor he's just the doctor who was on call I had heard TONS of great things about him so I wasn't worried. I was 40 weeks 5 days at an 8 and was told the doctor would be "right in" to break my water, 2 hours later he was finally there to do it, I almost immediately got to a 10 and of course he told me I'd start pushing with the nurses and they'd call him to deliver the baby but he had patients at his office he had to see. He told me since I was a first time mother that it wouldn't take me less than hour to have my child so he'd probably be back before anyone would have to call him, well he underestimated me and after the nurse called him more than once my child couldn't wait and delivered herself. He comes into the room after they've already called time of birth and cut the cord and gets an attitude with the nurses saying "well if someone would have called me" he didn't speak to anyone and was kind of childish while doing the end part of his job I asked him a question he didn't answer me, didn't ask how I was feeling or check on my child. NOTHING! I guess because I wasn't HIS patient he could of cared less about me and my child. I'd never recommend him and now that I've brought my story to everyone's attention more and more people are coming out and saying what horrible experiences he's given them."

"Very upset. Office is not organized and we scheduled an appointment out for a month. My appointment was cancelled at the last minute. Will not schedule with this office ever again."

"The most accurate description of my experiences with this office : disheartening and demoralizing. I found this office suffers from an intolerable degree of chronic mismanagement and consistent disregard for the patient. On the advice of my primary care physician, I visited this office to get help with some ongoing, worrisome “female issues.” The less than useless staff regularly do not answer phone calls; follow up on voicemails, e-mails or any other type of message; and render it nearly impossible to follow up on test results, or get any resolution or treatment. After having been completely ignored for weeks, my husband finally went in person to the office on my behalf--that is also ineffective as you'll just receive a directive to "call us"...which leads right back to the system of unanswered telephone calls and ignored voice mails. As you may imagine, I would strongly recommend you avoid this counterproductive clinic, and seek a competent health care team elsewhere."

"I've been seeing Dr. Lansdowne for 10 years. You will be hard pressed to find a more caring, compassionate doctor. I developed complications with my pregnancy and we found out at about 25 weeks that our baby was probably not going to survive. He was so compassionate and caring. When our son died (he lived 7 days) and I came back for my follow up appointment, he was so compassionate and expressed such concern for me after our loss. He scheduled additional follow-ups with me and continued to follow up to make sure I didn't need anti-depressants after such a difficult loss. We have since moved about an hour away from his office, but I refuse to find another OB/GYN. I will drive that hour to see him! He is the best!"
