"My Grandkids have not had an easy time getting into this school! After the hurricane they are displaced and living with family. The people that work in the offices are NOT helpful, discriminatory, and very judgemental when it comes to enrolling kids. They seem disinterested in getting the kids in and even less interested in helping the family get things done, like a bus ride for the 4year old.... especially when it’s dangerous that Mom is walking the 4 year old and a New baby along a busy road with no side walks... mind you there is a bus that’s already stops at the apartment complex daily. I will be writing letters to the school board! Complaints with names of the rude people working in the office! I bet they wouldn’t want their own children/Grandkids treated the way they have been treated! Especially after a natural disaster! Beware when looking to enroll your kids at this school! If they discriminate or hassle you, get names, write letters... complain! There are many people looking for jobs out here that would be kind and helpful and grateful to have a job! Unhappy and not done taking action against this school and some of the people that work here! The teachers are great front office staff...rude, discriminative, and Not helpful!"
"My son prek teachers are so awesome. Always willing to help in any situation that may arise. Mrs G and Mrs Thomas go way beyond their job and I am very grateful. Love you guys and continue to be a blessing to those kids..will miss y'all next year."
"I love this school. My oldest son is special needs and I searched a long time and many schools that provided good care and didn't just stick the kids in dark dirty room. They have big spacious classrooms! Great PPCD Teachers and expiranced assistants. This school exceeded all my expectations. They don't just provide a good individual teacher, it's a team of great teachers. The whole staff really works well together and the principal and staff in general are very hands on and hold each other accountable. I can't say enough good things. For me safety is a huge issue and this is the first school I feel safe and confident leaving my kids at. For that alone it's worth the traffic hasel and a small price to pay for the well being of my kids."
"My son's kinder teacher is amazing!!! But dropping him off in the morning is ridiculous. Lately, cops are everywhere pulling over parents for no reason and giving them tickets for any little thing they can and they are rude about it!!! I don't feel safe when I pull up to my son's school and see cops everywhere! Also, a couple of the staff members that stand outside to get the children from the cars in the mornings are rude, always making faces and hand gesture at the cars like we parent are idiots. You think I want my son seeing them act childish??"
"A lot of patience is needed to deal with this school! First I will start with how ridiculous it is to drop off and to pick your child. Dropping your child off in the morning is the worst, you are allowed a wopping 15 minutes to do so. Between 7:55a-8:10a is the time frame you have to work with. Parents are in their cars lined up around a nearby park close to the school. Parents often park on nearby streets and walk there children to the door, if that is not your preference you will wait in two long lines of traffic in order to have the staff take the kids from your car. This process often causes friction between parents and staff. The staff is often rude and speaks to parents as if they are children themselves. Also if you do not get a chance to drop your child of before the bell rings, you are asked to park your vehicle and sign your child in as tardy in the office. Angry parents fill this office daily due to these ridiculous circumstances. My personal experiences with the staff is not good! Seems like they take pride in giving parents a hard time with every aspect of interaction with them."
