Reviews
"Nice to see the cows roam on a 4 mile square size corral. And despite the 32°F, they all were out there. Am the chicken were also out, scratching to ground. That's a good life for them animals."
"The preserve is part of the farm, which is cute and has a nice store. The trails are not marked. I took what I assumed was the yellow Airstrip trail near the picnic shelter. It runs along a corn field and cow paddock, but immediately next to the mowed trail is the electric fence to keep the cows in. This is a hard no for small children and larger ones that might push their luck. There is no shade for 90% of the trails. This is really better for bike riding, there is a nice fine gravel road for the longer Brunner Trail and it looks like its been kept up. My dogs and I were miserable. There's a very small spot to fish, but the platform is only 6 ft wide. You can't see the river from the trails, or see the creek from the Creek Trail that runs along. Not a good walk. Go for the farm."
"Beautiful walking trail along the Fox River. Easy, flat gravel path. Visit the working farm to see cows, goats, pigs and more. Small organic farm store as well!"
"Great place for a family outing, The tour is free and amazing, the store doesn’t have enough variety of meat cuts. They could have included some fresh cut beef for sale. Most of the meat is frozen and pricey. But a good place for family to enjoy"
"Large, quite, clean place. Nice small store with milk, eggs, meat, dressings and spices and some handmade-organic beauty products. Prices are a bit high, but it's ok if you buy time to time, though they have permanent customers and milk is sold out in the first 2 hours daily. From what I saw, they have cows, sheeps, chickens, pigs. You can take your bike for a fresh air ride. There is really no odor."
