"The education is mediocre but the teachers are worse. Some of the educators really care about your child's academic success, and others here do not. The only way to get responses from the slackers is to go to the school unexpectedly and demand to be seen. You never know how your child is progressing until reports are sent home after nine weeks. There are better campuses a story distance away."

"I went to Askew Elementary about two years ago , and I just want to say what a great school it is. Some schools just learn from the textbook and don't really go in depth. Askew Elementary actually puts lessons into real world and hands on context. Some kids are not prepared for middle school, but the fifth grade teachers have a mission to prepare them. I love this school and it will always hold a special place in my heart. I went to three elementary schools around Houston, and I was at askew from 3-the middle of fifth grade.(I moved in January of 5th grade) Askew was by far the best. A lot of people are saying things about askew that will happen in literally any school ever, and it was just a bad experience. Askew really is a great school that your child will probably love and always hold close to their heart."
"Twenty years ago my 2 children attended Askew. Askew was a very good school with excellent teachers interested in the education and success of our children. Today I am very disappointed in our choice to put my grandchild in Askew. We were excited about starting school only to be let down by Askew. Now I can't wait to remove my grandchild from this negative environment . What a huge let down."
