"It's a nice park, it would be amazing if the district could fix the take out area where all the tubers and kayakers exit the water, I know they put steps in on the opposite side of the river, but everyone parks on the other side. Where they have been constructing the new bike path, getting in and out of there is a mess!! The ground at the top of the hill right above the rocks where you get out is muddy and super treacherous, I see at least 4 to 5 people fall every weekend. The park district could make that an amazing take out for kayaker and tubers with just a little work, but something really needs to be done!!"

"This review is for the river access. There is a parking lot nearby by the put in spot. The launch is pretty much a muddy/rocky fairly steep incline. There is a sign so boaters are aware that is the access. There is no ADA EZ-dock. I hope they will improve this launch in the future."
