"I got a referral to this place from my primary care doctor because it’s one of the few in my area that takes my insurance. They called me once while I was at work and I was unable to answer. I called back as soon as I got off at 2:30 and waited an hour on hold just be hung up on. It’s now been a month of calling and being on hold, i’m just going to find somewhere else."
"If I could give 0 stars I would. I’m pretty sure the good reviews are from staff or something because I don’t understand how. Long story short, I have to see a new OB because my insurance only lets me go to doctors that are affiliated with medical city facilities. I turn seven weeks tomorrow and over the weekend. I had some issues going on that caused me to go to the ER this morning. However, before I went to the ER, I called the office and told them about my situation, and they moved me up a week. My first appointment was previously the end of November. I know OBs are busy, and literally all I wanted was a piece of mind. The lady at the front desk is extremely rude and talked to me like I’m stupid. This is my second pregnancy, I’ve worked in an OB’s office I know how it works. Which I said to her a couple times. I guess the OB’s office that I worked at is different and talk to you like you’re a normal human and gives you some type of reassurance. So anyways, I went to the ER and had an ultrasound done, but since I’m so early, they weren’t able to detect a heartbeat. The doctor saw a tiny flutter and both him and the radiologist said that I need to check with my new OB’s office to see if they can order an ultrasound next week when they should be able to detect a heartbeat. So I called the office and told the lady at the front that I went to the ER and the doctor recommended getting an ultrasound done next week. He said to see if there was any way possible to squeeze me in next week since I was bleeding instead of paying money to come back to the ER and do an ultrasound. Well, the lady at the front desk put me on speakerphone in the office manager was there. She immediately is rude, starts talking down on me while I’m crying just asking for any type of reassurance that the baby is OK. I even offered to bring up my notes from the hospital. The office manager literally says in the ugliest tone “ma’am there is nothing that we can do to stop the bleeding, if you feel like it is urgent you need to go back to the ER”.. I said “I obviously know that you can’t stop the bleeding and all I wanted to see was if there was anyway that I can be seen next week to get any type of reassurance that I am OK without having to wait until the end of November”. My old OBs office unfortunately only deliveries at Methodist so I’m not able to see him since he is now out of network with my insurance. I reassured her that I promise. I’m not trying to just get an early I’m just scared that I’m losing this baby. I don’t know if I’m crazy for thinking this is being handled wrong, I get office protocol but it’s the lack of empathy, talking down on somebody who is clearly overwhelmed and distressed, and making someone feel like they’re stupid is not the way to go. Everyone gave me so many good recommendations with this office and I was excited to see the doctor but now I’m thinking that I have to find a new OB because of the fact that the office manager was talking to me the way that she was. Now I’m stressing out that I have to wait until the end of November to get an ultrasound and make sure that the baby is okay. Switching to a new OB. If the office manager is reading this, you are a horrible person and I don’t understand how you and the other horrible lady at the front desk still have a job. Disgusting attitude."
"Wouldn't recommend this place to my worst emeny. If you want a OB that won't reach out to you in a timely matter or sometimes at all. If you want a OB were you have to sit on hold for 30mins to an hour every time you call this is your place. If you want a OB that messed up your leave paperwork this is your spot. If you like doctors that only seem to care about you as a number and profits this is your spot. If you want a doctor that seems to want to help you and care for you then I'd go somewhere else. Not just as a OB but this is one of the worst ran and most unprofessional doctors offices I've ever been a part of."
"Jo was amazing today! She is a true example of outstanding customer service. I had an issue & she jump right in & tried to resolve it. Pleasant with a "can-do" attitude! Thanks Jo for being awesome!!"
"I just left the doctors office after being on hold for over an hour. No one helped me, they didn’t even try. Told me to go to urgent care. My doctor is out until November. I guess no one can replace her. Customer service is very poor. No one ever answers the phone. If you really need assistance don’t go here."
