"Unfortunately I had a poor experience before I even was able to visit the office. I called to see if they were accepting new patients for my first prenatal appointment with Seasons OB/GYN back in November at about 5-6 weeks pregnant. I left a voicemail and waited for a call back. I missed the return call at some point but received one voicemail from their secretary Sandy stating yes they’re accepting new patients and they would be able to get me in around early January. Fast forward a few days and I called the office and Sandy proceeded to tell me nope she couldn’t do it there's no availability (truly I’m not sure if I said something to upset her or she could here my frustration with not hearing back sooner) and I told her that’s not what she said in her voicemail that was left. Silence on the other end of the phone- I’m assuming because she couldn’t think of an excuse fast enough. I asked about any first availability even if it was three months out so I could transfer care at a later time since we live in the area and it makes more sense to see an OB within the flower mound area- she said that would be too late in my pregnancy. I explained that I would see a different OB for my first appointment or two so I would still be seeing someone for care and the only response I got was “no that won’t work” even though people transfer clinics for continuity of care all the time for a multitude of reasons. There wasn’t any explanation past that. She just referred me to a competing OBGYN clinic in the area which I had already ruled out. Basically any excuse to not schedule me is how I felt. It was very frustrating and disheartening conversation and not any way to handle someone. I sat on this review for a few months because I was so upset at the time but still feel the need to share my experience."
"I'm not sure what the negative reviews are about! I had a fantastic experience today! The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, my nurse was personable and sweet, and Dr. Lungren was also great! She was moving quickly but she's got people to see! If you have questions or need more attention/time with your doctor (any doctor!) - say so in the moment! I wish people weren't so afraid to get what they need out of doctor visits. They leave frustrated and leave a nasty review afterwards when it all could have been solved by saying something during their appointment. Anywho - I'll definitely be back!"
"My entire experience with Dr. Rachel Osborn and the Seasons OBGYN office was horrible. I called them initially due to spotting and cramping in my pregnancy – I was worried that something was wrong. They refused to make an appointment for me prior to me being 8 weeks along, but they conceded to us doing HCG blood testing prior to then. I was right and the blood tests came back confirming it was non-viable (Dr. Rachel Osborn refused to speak to me at any time in this process even though I begged and was sobbing for any sort of assistance), and they told me to miscarry at home with Tylenol (they refused any other assistance at all) – this ended up being impossible because I had an ectopic pregnancy and I could have died without the intervention of a different OB at the emergency room. Other problems with her and her office: I was given contradictory information by the front desk – first they said Ibuprofen was safe, then they called and said it wasn’t safe. I had added my husband to my HIPPA disclosure and they still wouldn’t tell him my results (I had specifically asked for them to call him about these results because I did not believe I was mentally well enough to receive them myself) but they DID tell him that the numbers were “bad” (and this is when they fully were under the impression that I had NOT added him to my HIPPA disclosure form). A nurse asked me “Well, have you thought about IVF?” when I was having a panic attack and trying to explain to her I was devastated because I had been trying to get pregnant for four years prior, showing zero empathy and increasing my distress. I was told I wouldn’t need a RHOgam shot when I specifically asked for it, and then was called and told I DID need a RHOgam shot. I had to pick it up at the pharmacy myself and bring it in because they didn’t carry it even though it is an incredibly common medication – and because they made me do it this way, I had to pay out of pocket even though I had already met my deductible. With the amount of awards this office seems to have, you will probably be fine if you go in and have a normal happy pregnancy. But if something goes wrong, expect to have zero assistance, and be kicked to the curb with no empathy."
"Ive had nothing but great experience with Dr. Osborne. I was new to the area and was searching. When she moved to a different office, I followed. In these situation, you want someone who is care, knowledgable and feels comfortable to talk to. Years later, shes still the only person I go to. Thank you!"
"Go somewhere else. I tracked my pregnancy here and did delivery with Dr Lungren but throughout the visits I felt she was careless. She is in a rush in every appointment, when I arrived at Texas Health Hospital almost 9 months pregnant, in bad shape with high fever few days before delivering my child .. she rolled her eyes and said: “well emergency is down there not here, if you are not in labor is not my job” go to emergency”. She did not even asked how I was doing, ask about symptoms of delivery there she just kept chatting with other people ignoring us. I just had to do my delivery with her since had short time for baby to come, my C-section went well thank God but she never went afterwards (as doctors are suppose to by hospital rules) to check on how my incision was, how baby and me were doing. The hospital manager came and apologized about my primary doctor not coming to check on us after doing a major surgery. She showed up on the third day to our room only because hospital management ask her to. She might be good at what she does and have 30 years of experience as she mentions every single time in not the most humble way, but a Doctor core value should be caring about people and her patients, not looking at them just as a number on her professional record. A doctor is not made of a number of diplomas on a wall is about how they treat a human specially when they are going trough such important task of bringing life into the world. Besides that some assistants are nice and kind."
