"I see all the good reviews about this school and I'm glad you all are having a good experience but I can't say the same. The only good experience I had with any of the staff here was with the school nurse. The office staff either loses or disregards letters I send about my child, his teacher is out because of her newborn so things that get sent to the substitute are ignored and left in my child's folder. The carpool line is the worst I've seen in 5 years (older daughter used to get dropped off). They love throwing the word "safety" out to make my son hold their hand or wait to get in or out of the car from the curb. First, I've told my son to not hold anyone's hand because the teachers are touching all of these kids hands which is only spreading germs. NOT SAFE!!! Second, we pull up to the curb closet to the school; are you keeping him safe from the cracks in the sidewalk??? Third, I've witnessed teachers and kids almost get hit because of poor communication. One teacher would tell cars to go while another who forgot to get a child out of a car at the proper time decided to get them out as cars started moving... One lane carpool would work a lot better. Just because you have 2 lanes does not mean you should use them... Potsma Elementary gets it! I don't want to get started on those sad playgrounds. SMH... I wish he was back at Andre!"

"This school is brand new to the cypress, Katy area i was happy to start my kids at a new school moving from out of state, unfortunately we recently moved out of zone for the school and saw it was of best interest to change schools due the need of transportation to and from school, i had never experience so many requirements and trouble with a school just for my kids to attend school tho there was a process with everything needed to be done this became very irritating to deal with, yet MRS SONYA Hoover's register was AMAZING and helpful, very patient with me through the term oil of experience I had to go through she took extra care of my needs and was very understanding, she went the extra miles to do her best to help with my girls getting and giving me information, unfortunately we wont be a Hoover HERO yet MRS. SONYA definitely was one to us thanks for all you did !"
