"They have thee best hash browns and they are affordable. They also have fresh Persian cucumbers u know the ones that they put on the roti bowls yess those... I make my own version of Roti bowls with shredded red cabbage and Persian cucumbers rice and chicken. They also carry lean meats my chicken breast came out really good and juicy when I grilled them"

"Today I walked to the cashier on line 8, when I got to the register, the cashier told me she was closed while the register light was on, to let shoppers know she was open. The cashier on the next register helped me over to her register so that I can be serviced. As soon as I got there, 8 opened back up instantly as if she didn't want to serve me, and the cashier took all of the next shoppers who were all Hispanic. I am African American, and I felt as if it were racially motivated so I asked for a supervisor. I spoke with Fransisco, he told me that she was taking a coffee break, the lady never left the checkout area. The store had only been open for an hour, there's no way the cashier was on break that early in the shift, or closing only an hour after the store was open. I wasn't satisfied with the way Fransisco handled the situation so i asked for the number to corporate, Fransisco gave me the number to the store and when I asked again, he called the police. I will be contacting the better business bureau in the morning to file a formal complaint, I will never shop here again or any of the other stores."

"I been coming to this market and never had any inconvenience until today i was doing my shopping like always. An old guy took my shopping cart out of my hands aggressively and no one did nothing even tho i spoke to the manager this happen in the store very poor management to be honest i don't think i would go back to this market."

"I will never ever ever ever shop here! I seriously don't understand why anyone does. The quality of the meats and produce are less than mediocre and priced out of this world! For being what I thought was a "community store", the prices definitely don't help the community shoppers! I saw the exact same cake, same brand 8.99 at shop and save... At Cermak fresh market...18.99!! I was seriously shocked. I walked out of the store. I seriously don't mind paying extra, if the quality is there, but this was just not the situation!!"

"I always come to shop in this place with my personal bags and everything with no problem. Until now,a man of 5’4 ,Latino and looked about 55 with grey hair came to my space telling and stopping me from shopping telling me that you must hand bags over to the front and they’ll give you a number . Now I’ve been shopping here for months and had no problems getting what I need or seen a sign or been told to begin with saying I should hand over my bags. I told him are you telling just me or everyone that comes here and he says “oh am just letting you know that you don’t get uncomfortable when they let you know? No one has made me uncomfortable till now. I don’t know if he was on a power trip but he was only standing outside talking till he ran after me to make me uncomfortable thinking am capable of stealing. When am walking around right now as we speak he’s hovering around me. Now I asked for his name and as far as he says his name is Austin. It always be your own people targeting you. I haven’t seen a Cermak worker tell their costumers to hand over their personal bags . This is the only sign they had about their store but notice how that’s the only sign they have stating that bags must be checked but written in vague letters . Whose going to stop and look at the door sign (only one they have) for what they can and can’t . The only reason am writing this review is because he didn’t seem to run after everyone except me this time. I’ve been here many times with no issue."
