"Lots of homemade foods and meats. Love the whole smoked trout"
"Stopped just to check out the place. I am always on the lookout for places that offer foods from other countries. I must say, I will come back with time and money. There are so many choices of fresh meats cured meats, ready to eat meals, and much more. I'm not an expert in Polish foods, but everything looked and smelled authentic! I already gave my daughter and her husband the address so they can check it out. This was my purchase, I can't wait to try it!"
"I live in the area and I always pass the store and today for the 1st time I actually stopped to check it out. When I say the store is amazing it is amazing! a bunch of fresh foods, I ended up leaving with some hot food and when I tell you it was delicious! I mean it! So good! Definitely will be coming back for some food again."
"I had bought TONS of chicken breast from a grocery store when they were on sale for 0.99/lb. But chicken breast to us Chinese is always dry and tough. I've made it a couple of times and it was just ok. That's why we don't usually buy chicken breast but for 0.99/lb, I bought 25lbs. I have growing boys and they eat a lot!!! So my coworker showed me a picture of a bag you can get at a Polish grocery store with herbs and you just have to put the chicken in and it'll turn out moist, juicy and delicious. I had to get me some bags and see what kind of a sorcery is this! I haven't made it yet but I went to Lassak to get my bags and also some kabanos that I absolutely love! They have everything. Such a well stocked produced grocery store. Not always the friendliest at the butcher shop so that's why I had taken away a star. I felt like when I asked them questions, they were a bit irritated by me because I was Chinese and didn't speak English but I would still go back again. The older lady who worked in the aisle and the cashier was very nice when I had asked for help. At least that was a plus. I want to try their hot food one day!"
"For me being in a Polish grocery store is like being a kid in a candy store. I know next to nothing about Polish food. Stuffed cabbage and pierogi are the extent of my knowledge. So it was a discovery journey for me. When you walk in you in you are greeted with a long counter full of different kinds of sausages. Then there were counters of cooked food and salads. There were many shoppers all speaking Polish. I asked for help and recommendations. The staff was very helpful and I came out with 2 grocery bags of food. Frankly I have forgotten most of the names of the food I bought already. Nevertheless they were all delicious. The potato pancakes, the chicken roll stuffed with mushrooms and the cheese blintzes were superb. We now visit the store regularly. Each time it is a discovery. We never know what nice treats await us in the hot food section. We also love all the different kinds of baked rye bread they offer."
