"Store is tiny but there was a 15 minute wait because the woman butcher at the counter wasn't paying attention to customers who were waiting to order. She was to busy on her cellphone texting instead of working. Other than that everything else was fine last night"
"AVOID- RACIALLY PROFILING MANAGER AND EMPLOYEES. I live 5 minutes away from this grocery store and I can confidently say I will NEVER be returning. Upon arriving I was stared down by 2 employees. I thought that was just me overthinking things, I continued on. About halfway through the store I noticed another employee and the manager following me. I was looking at myself, did I do something wrong here? I kept trying to ignore it but near the end of the store the manager following me was nearly 5 feet behind me. I turned to him and asked "sir are you following me?" He said "nope just walkin my store." I continued to the checkout line and saw him over my shoulder watching me pay. I walked out of the store with 4 employees standing there by the exit doors. As I was pulling out, the cart lady (with no carts) blatantly walked in front of my car and stood there for 20 seconds? I was thinking are they trying to catch me doing something???? I couldn't be more relieved leaving and NEVER EVER RETURNING. I'm a 30 year old Caucasian women and I was profiled from the minute walking into this store. I've never felt so uncomfortable in a public setting. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a grocery store and I am reporting the manager once I have my husband go back and find out his name. I can't imagine how this feels for people of color and no one should have to experience this. I'm ashamed at myself for not telling the manager himself."
"Rude employees like Ian and the woman working the desk with him yesterday. Never smile Never pleasant. 3 out of 5 visits I have problems. Including with Chuck. The manager. And Johanna Gomez. The director. Wouldn't honor my $5.99 a pound T-bone steak clipped coupon for the only two packages they had. Because they were thin cut ones even though the ad says any size packages. Jazmine is the only exception here. She goes above and beyond to help customers."
"Yesterday I went to this Jewel, I bought grilled chicken, I mostly ask to substitute the breast for a thigh, yesterday the woman Joann told me that they don’t do substitutes, not only did she say it but she said it with a bad attitude!! She then told me to go to the service desk, only for her to tell the worker from the service desk that she is not going to substitute, what people don’t understand is that if it wasn’t for the customers they would not be in business!! I was offered a 15 dollar certificate, with people working in the food department with attitudes like what I experienced, I will spend my money elsewhere, I definitely will not be going back to this jewel"
"I used to love the this store because the cashiers and everyone is so nice, except the old lady ( manager) is there. because she always has an attitude. When you ask her about something She always try to be smart it and make you look dumb in front of people or without people . Like one day I went and she gave me such a bad attitude just because the card machine froze and when I asked for help she gave me the worse attitude and said “the checkup self does not accept credit or debit card so go pay with the cashiers ” since then i stopped going to not be rude to her, because I seen she that way with most of the people specially if you are Latino."
