"I hated it here, I went here for half of first grade, all of second grade and half of third grade. When I first toured the school it felt out of place and way too modern for me. The faculty would stare at me like I had always done something wrong and they were very impatient. I attempted to hide my discomfort and I eventually gave up. I remember crying in front of everyone during PE class and the teacher did nothing about it except that it was wrong and very evil of me to drink from the sink (we couldn't drink water even if we were thirsty). The only thing I liked about that school was my second grade teacher, Mrs. Clark. She was the only nice teacher who helped me out and didn't stare at me like I messed up everything. I would not recommend this school to anyone at all!"

"My daughter started 2nd grade at BCE. Having never attended school before, she was working on a kindergarten level. Her wonderful teacher, Mrs Coley helped her so much. My daughter improved enough to make it to 3rd grade and really enjoyed her time here. Now she has another great teacher, Mrs Brown that she loves because she is so nice. I can't speak for everyone, but our experience with Bulverde has been quite positive so far."
