"I have 3 children that have been at Brooks since 2019. We were incredibly lucky to happen upon them when looking for a better fit than our neighborhood school. It feels like family and the administration and teachers go above and beyond to involve and motivate students and family. I promise you won’t find another school where the principle/counselors and school nurse personally greet each child every morning! Some things I love the most about Brooks Lone Star: •There are many opportunities to meet other parents and build relationships, some I know will be life-long for me and my kids. •School work stays at school and students aren’t bogged down with hours of homework everyday. There is a great school/personal time balance which makes going to school more exciting and not overwhelming. •I appreciate the ease and openness of communication when I comes to my kids needs. The staff is very responsive. •The campus feels bright, clean, inclusive and incredibly safe. We had a parent meeting in the “sensory-friendly zen room” and it was so cool! •After-school program is led by a great group of people, is affordable and makes life a little easier for working parents. So, if you are looking for a private school at public school price, i promise you won’t be disappointed!"

"Our child transferred to Brooks Lone Star during the pandemic, and for the first time ever, she's told us she loves going to school. We love the warm and welcoming community, the frequent communication with parents, the thoughtfully planned school events, and the outstanding academics. The school is small so the teachers can give students a lot of personal attention and challenges to keep them progressing. Our child feels seen and enjoys the friendships she's made. We're happy she's continuing her Spanish dual language education and that the school teaches a love of reading, so our daughter now reads more books in her free time. The principal, Señor LeMaitre, is outstanding at leading the school and understanding it's a community effort -- "our school," as he calls it -- and he appreciates input from parents. I feel our child is in good hands and the school really cares."

"My children started 3 weeks into the school year and the staff was very supportive. I chose this school because of the dual language program. I love the family feeling we get every time we have after school activities with the school staff. He genuinely has the best intentions for the students and their academic success. Their staff of teachers are all communicative, and go above and beyond to work with each students needs. "Love the school, education is everything. The teachers here are very nice and understandable. School is very clean inside and out and still follow COVID guidelines. The security officer treats our children very nice as well as the parents, she goes out of her way to make sure are children are safe from harm. I recommend bringing your children to this school."
