"I'm SOOO frustrated with this clinic! Stay away as they don't answer a single phone call and they close their office without any kind of notice. They will take weeks to return calls or messages (if they care to return them at all). I tried calling NUMEROUS times for a new pregnancy a few months ago after receiving such great recommendations for these doctors and not once did they answer their phone or return my voicemails. I ended up going to another clinic and miscarried. I became pregnant again after 2 months and tried getting in with them again and they finally returned my call but even then, it took them weeks to return. I explained my previous miscarriages and new concerns so they had me come in for HCG Levels for 2 weeks. The first was fine but the second, they made me wait 30 minutes AFTER my scheduled time. Plus an extra 15 minutes because I got there early. The front desk girl didn't seem to care to help. Her face showed how annoyed she was that I asked how much longer and I kept getting looks from them behind the glass after I sat down. On top of that, I didn't hear a single phone ring which explains why they never answer. They're super strict on "no kids" in their clinic which boggles me because they help deliver babies. You have to have them strapped in a carrier or stroller. I was ok with that to an extent but strapping in a 2 yr old and telling her to sit still for nearly 50 minutes in a quiet waiting room is impossible. I'm highly upset that I didn't make it to my first appointment with the actual doctor due to the lack of professionalism from the front desk staff. I've heard great things about all the doctors here but if I can't reach someone when I have concerns that don't require a hospital visit, I can't rely on them to be there. Changes need to be SERIOUSLY made."

"Could you care less about your personal health and are seeking staff that feel the same way? You’ve found the perfect place!! I’ve been a patient at this office for about three years, coming in every three months for the birth control shot. I typically wait an hour each time to see a nurse for maybe two minutes, so as the other reviews have stated, don’t come to this office unless you have the time to wait all day. Anyway, I came in on November 7th for my first ever wellness visit with Dr. Stamatis. Apparently since I am 19 years old, the only thing he deemed necessary was testing for STI’s. He also seemed like he was in a rush to the point where when he did ask if I had any concerns, I was unable to get a word out. Hoping for some confirmation that you don’t have cervical cancer or irregular lumps on the breast area? Don’t worry, they won’t check at all! However, they WILL be sure to document that a routine annual examination was completed and bill your insurance, who just so happens to cover one annual exam a year. Came in today to clarify whether or not they charged my insurance for an annual exam or for what they actually did, which was lab testing, in hopes that I could get a proper wellness visit elsewhere. After explaining my concerns to the front desk, one of them went to ask their manager if they would be able to refund the payment and instead charge me for a doctors visit. I was hoping the manager would come out and speak with me, but the front desk lady came back and had me speak to the nurse I regularly see, who just so happened to be in the room during my “wellness visit.” I knew the nurse wouldn’t be much help when she began talking about the wellness visit as if it were an upcoming appointment, rather than knowing what today’s date is and realizing this appointment was 9 days ago. She continued stating that under Texas Law, they are unable to perform paps to anyone under the age of 21 unless they are pregnant or have a history of cervical cancer. She also mentioned that they don’t do urine screening, and that “Dr. Stamatis probably didn’t do a breast exam because you’re 19 and didn’t want to make you feel uncomfortable.” God forbid the doctor actually do his job?! But of course, he documented no changes. I could be wrong but billing me for something that was not preformed may fall along the lines of insurance fraud. The nurse did offer me a once in a lifetime opportunity to see Dr. Stamatis AGAIN to perform practices that he should’ve done the first time, to which I declined. Hopefully Dr. Stamatis’s assumptions are correct and there is nothing wrong with me!!! I guess I’ll find out next year when I am able to receive a proper wellness visit somewhere else!"

"I have been a patient here for years and love Dr. Stamatis. He is the one who brought my child into this world at the hospital. Great guy and very professional and the nurses are amazing. However, and I am highly disappointed in how I was treated this morning by the front desk employees. I arrived for my appointment 10 minutes early, filled out paperwork to update information, the standard procedure. I have a son, who I unfortunately didn't have anyone to watch him so I had to bring him with me (which is not a problem, I love my little guy). That being said, he is 2.5 years old, and is 35-40 pounds and was strapped in his stroller. After the paperwork was filled out and turned in I waited about 5-6 minutes for them to tell me they could not see me because my son was not in a car seat... What?.... I explained that he is too big for a car seat therefore he does not have one. The front desk employee continued to ask me if I wanted to reschedule and gave me the earliest date, but I had to refuse because I needed advanced notice for my job. I told her I would call back if I chose to reschedule. I would appreciate it if the office manager would call me back and explain the difference between a child being strapped in a car seat versus strapped in a stroller. I am very upset because I took half a days pay for this appointment just for them to not see me because of something that doesn't even make sense. Update** The manager called to inform me of the differences between a car seat and a stroller. She said the car seat is to ensure that the child does not get out and run around.. I'm sorry.. but doesn't a stroller do the same thing? Not a very intelligent staff."

"Doctor S. Stamatis is a wonderful doctor. He's not just in and out like most doctor's. He cares and listens to you. Love this doctor. And the entire staff there is outstanding! If the staff is rude to me, I wouldn't even bother going past them to see the doctor. It starts at the front lobby and they are all so nice and caring, just amazing I finally found a doctor and the entire crew, that is absolutely amazing to their patients. They all treat you with respect. I highly recommend Dr Stamatis, you won't be disappointed."

"Dr. Stamatis is truly great at what he does! As a nurse, I was so nervous trusting my pregnancy in anyone else's hands. This is my first pregnancy so naturally I worry about everything large or small. Dr. Stamatis has done an amazing job at making me feel prepared for each step and reassured in my worries. He has great bedside manner and I never feel rushed during our visits. I highly recommend him for anyone looking for top notch care. I feel completely comfortable in knowing baby and I are fully taken care of."
