"The express line is never open. It’s 5 PM there’s two lines open that are extremely long and the self-serve has a massive line to. I left the above review apparently 11 months ago, and apparently I can’t leave another review? Maybe I can? However, then I’m going to edit this one. There was a one-day online sale for delivery or pick up. I never done that before. So I called and asked about it a couple days ago. I placed an order and went to choose a pick up time and it was unavailable. When I called just now, they said the last pick up time was 8 PM and then all orders had to be in by 6 PM. It does not say that in the sale ad. Since I said, I’d never done that before when I called a couple days ago, I would assume someone would tell me that. Also, since I am leaving a review 90% of the time the washroom’s there are disgusting! They are way beyond dirty. Does anybody ever check those and clean those? Do the employees have their own washroom so they don’t have to go in there? They smell horribly, there’s urine all over the toilet, floor, along with toilet paper. The sinks are horrible. I don’t know how a woman could even use the washroom in Jewel, since both are unisex. I go to Jewel, probably every four or five days and often have to use the washroom, so this isn’t a one time experience. This has been like this for years."

"Pretty typical Jewel-Osco store. Today was a bit frustrating as lots of stocking, so carts of product in the aisles. Store could use some updating. Could also be a bit larger."

"Typically everyone is great! Love my local jewel in Villa park today I asked one of the stock guys a question. I first asked if he was a jewel worker or outside vendor stocking… his response was less than nice and he never looked up or towards me, simply gonna ask where I could find Ricotta cheese although he did reply… he was a little rude and seemed bothered he had to take his headphone out to hear my question. Just saying I think he could have been a little nicer. I worked for jewel and so did two of my boys…. We understand it’s not an easy job … but jewel prides themselves on CS … I hope he doesn’t always act like this and simply having a bad day."

"This is my local Jewel and out of convenience I will stop here periodically for soda, cereal, milk, etc. But I don’t think there’s been a single time when I didn’t get burned by them. Whether it’s the chicken with a new sticker on top reflecting a new sell by date (once I opened the package, it smelled foul and rotten), the cake from the bakery that is being sold full price past the sell by date, the custom cake order with writing that looks like it belongs to a grade schooler, or the salmon in the case with the hair of the butcher on it. The staff are usually very very helpful, and they deserve any stars given here."
