"Who ever gets a job interview please watch out what u put in your application oh availability to work because u will get accountable,and fired to not complying the hours you could work,I started to work here got hired because I sign of piece of paper saying I am not obligated to change my workdays I am going to give my hours that I needed the bottom line I have never worked with a store that has poor managers and rude and no respect at all that I have been working here this is a shame I quited because they couldn't fine hours of the whole 7 days a week and 24 hours to put me evenings and not mornings they obligated u to stick on their schedule untill the my use u whenever they want when they tell us to work they do not care at all to loose u as a Employee please watch out u will never want somone go thru this like I did the sad part he knew for a month that I couldn't work mornings but worked with me for the holidays and Christmas and new year and waited to use me as a employee untill he own time untill he told me I am obligated to work the schedule and bottom line.please I will advice who ever apply here watch carefully what u do and sign can be a problem for you will just throw u as trash when they can I just wish I knew he could've told me that not way at all and there no schedule for evenings to walk out but he wanted to make sure he had staff during the holidays season to use me and work with me untill he had a chance to tell me I need to work the days I said I can but didn't have time to tell me this a month ago when he has putting me in evenings.now I am jobless to lack of not working the schedule,has no respect for anyone but their own he couldn't work with me in the evenings... And left a pregnant girl and mother of 3 kids jobless for not having compassion and affection to work with me"

"This review is specifically for the pharmacist Jocelyn. She gave us exceptional customer service. My Dad had just got back from rehab. The place said they faxed prescriptions over but they hadn't. I got to pharmacy around 745. They close at 8. Jocelyn patiently let me go through all the good rx codes and all the prescriptions. She even took time to see if she could get us a better price. Then she even stayed open later to make sure my Dad had his preciptions filled. She really cares about people and that shows. She took a lot of stress off us. We will be back soon for refills. I would recommend anyone to fill prescriptions here and have Jocelyn wait on you. Whoever reads this please give her praise for doing an exceptional job. She's amazing and I appreciate all she did."

"Our daughter had HOLLY in the Floral Dept. at this specific Jewel location (140 W. Lake Street, Addison) design, arrange and produce all of the flowers for her recent October '23 wedding and HOLLY DID AN ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS JOB! For a fairly large wedding of 160 people, Holly did every single floral arrangement, from the 18 guest tables, to the bride's bouquet, the 8 bridesmaid's bouquets & 11 groomsmen & father of the bride boutonnieres, the 3 corsages for the moms and 1 aunt. Not only did she point our daughter in the direction fas to what flowers would be at their best for the season, she suggested and threw together sample arrangements so a visible example was there to view. My daughter could not have been happier, as were we!! We provided Holly with the 18 vases she needed for the tables and our daughter's wedding planner picked up and brought all of the arrangements to the venue without a hitch. Everything was absolutely perfect: the arrangements, the freshness of all of the flowers (not a wilted one in sight), and the promptness in which they were ready to be picked up. I recommend everyone to purchase your flowers from this location! And for any sort of parties, engage Holly's expertise; ask for her by name...and tell her Rob, Kathy and Leah highly recommended her!! You will be so happy you did"

"This Jewel-Osco is awful! The only reason I'm giving it two stars instead of just one is because the remodel did help improve things. However, I often find expired items here. Also, selection here is much more limited compare to other Jewel-Osco stores. Employees to help seem to be nowhere to be found. The only employees here I find to be pleasant and helpful are at the meat counter. The worst part of this store is checkout. There is often only one regular checkout with a long wait, forcing customers into self-checkout. Many (but not all) employees at self-checkout are rude to customers. One example is when a customer at self checkout needed help, the employee just walked over, scanned her badge and walked away. Aren't employees supposed to greet customers? Employees often stand there looking less than pleased at customers. I understand you can't smile every minute, but how about a halfway pleasant demeanor?"
