"Amazing Dr whom I have trusted for almost 20 years. Staff is very patient and always willing to help, whether it’s with post op care, delivery, insurance questions or simply an appointment. They are all very kind, I myself travel from Raymondville to McAllen to see Dr Puig and his staff."

"If I could give zero stars I would. Its extremely inconsiderate to patients who are Pregnant, work, have children, lives, to OVERBOOK your practice and have people waiting around for HOURS on end, to get seen for only 5 minutes. Sylvia is amazing, and I feel terrible for her because this doctors office is so poorly ran that im sure she is here because its something to add onto her resume until she moves onto bigger and better things. She truly deserves better. This doctors office is so unorganized and extremely unprofessional. Im a very direct individual and will call you out if you are A) dismissive B) rude C) Not prepared. I show up on time, fill out all your damn forms, and am extremely understanding. A previous reviewer said we should be grateful! Please DO NOT LISTEN TO THAT PERSON! This is not about kind staff, its about the quality of healthcare you are receiving when the staff is clearly overworked, we all have jobs and professions. Being poorly managed should not be an excuse as to why I have to request an ENTIRE working day off to be seen for 5 minutes. I have been seen four times and have yet to meet the doctor who is supposed to cut me open. Very reassuring, I THINK NOT! Do not settle, please go somewhere else, because this doctors office is NOT equipped to take care of you. As someone who has an extensive medical history and is heavily anemic, this doctors office has done nothing to provide a game plan to my care and is not prepared for worst case scenario. Ladies, when it comes to your health, you should strive for best case scenario, but always be prepared for worst case scenario. This doctors office is contributing to the large decline of healthcare here in the valley and its so sad and even worse because women are largely dismissed in the medical industry. STAY AWAY! Reasons to backup the above: -Four hours plus wait time -There is no Sonograph tech on site -NP does all meetings and is legally not allowed to discuss serious medical conditions with out doctors consent who is never present"

"Had an appointment here last week at 9. I wasn’t seen until 1:00! Didn’t leave the place until 2. Worst waiting time I’ve ever had to deal with. Never have I waited 4 hours anywhere! I think it’s super inconsiderate to keep patients especially the majority being pregnant waiting this long! I don’t plan on returning. Didn’t even see the actual doctor either. Very disappointing."

"Today was my first time visiting this office and already had a bad experience. My appointment was at 8am, I left there at 11am.... 3 HOURS later and that's because I walked out. I refused to be there any longer. I didn't even get to see the doctor or get an ultrasound or anything done within those 3 hours of waiting there. I tried to reschedule because I had other appointments to get to but they never attended me.. 5 mins after I walked out the clinic, they called me... the nerve, honestly. I should've read the reviews before even setting up an appointment with this facility. I understand everything is business nowadays but instead of seeing patients as dollar signs, they should focus more on their care and schedule less people per day to get through them all and actually interact with them and their needs. Truly disappointing. Do better, Dr Puig & staff."

"Been with him for 3+ years! Great doctor and great staff ☺️ It breaks my heart seeing such negative reviews. We should be thankful and grateful that this incredible doctor and his staff are on their feet all day and are trying their best to keep things in order and get their jobs done as each individual case comes in. I see reviews that state that they wait forever, yet are only seen for 2 minutes… One appointment may be shorter because there may be no issues with the pregnancy… while another appointment may be longer because of issues. If your appointment is short (regardless of how long you waited), it would be wonderful if we could just be grateful that everything is well with our baby! We should be thankful that we have this team here working hard as best as they can.Dr Puig has to run to the hospital for deliveries and I’m sure there are a million and one things he deals with each day that are far more crucial than being there for just a quick ultrasound check. Silvia is there too and she is amazing and if you get the honor to see her, she takes care of you very well just as Dr Puig would. If you are upset that you don’t get to see the doctor himself- remember he’s also delivering babies! And he’ll be there to deliver your baby too. I’m grateful for the people working here because they have always been so kind to me. I understand wait times may be a little long every now and then, but it’s not done on purpose. We should be considerate also that there are people around us experiencing really hard and difficult issues and may need more time and attention."
