"First time going and the Dr was just all cold and aloof. Gave no heads up about a cold metal clamp going in then afterwards just went in with her fingers all vigorously. For someone who’s been in this field for a while she has definitely lost her touch of being gentle with her patients."

"I think highly of Dr. Matthew's however her staff could use a customer service refresh. I called to have an issue resolved with a medication that I need however, Imayo was quick to brush me off with "we'll to get to it; we're extremely busy". It's unfortunate Imayo fails to identify her income stems from Dr. Matthew's patients and should consider choosing the patient's perspective over her own. Update; Your assumption regarding the time frame is unacceptable. I consulted with Dr Mathews, she then had her staff update my referral with a new specialist. I waited more than several months for my specialist appt only to be called and asked for a pre-auth. Dr M's team shifts blame to specialist office even though Dr M's office already had notice I had an appointment in the future. Dr M's team told the specialist; "who called and set this appointment ", and "we don't sent out pre-auth have her PCP do that". First, I was previously told Dr Matthew's office DOES NOT schedule referrals for her pts. Second, my PCP shouldn't need to take action since they did not refer me to a specialist. At the point I notified Dr M's office regarding the specialist I would expect their billing team would confirm with the specialist team to ensure they have what they need in order to see me. Again Dr Mathew's staff member tells me "I'll send the pre-auth when I'm done with THE REST of the patients " (you'll have to wait). It's been an up hill battle with this office."

"Have had issues with this practitioner since day one. other than the constant issues with communication (front desk is nice but when it comes to doctor communication there is 0) and the way i feel like i have to argue for everything (doesn't belive that i have pain makes snide comments about not being able to use the bigger speculum) and the fact that they have over charged me before, makes each appointment the most hated day of the year. on top of all that when asking for a tubal because of medical issues and being high risk i was turned down... not for age (she very proudly said she had done the procedure on 19 year olds) but the fact that "you can change your mind and have a kid" when i assured her i had my decision made and am too high risk to carry to term she still refused while telling me all about the other younger patients she had provided the procedure for...i felt insulted and settled for an iud which opened a whole can of worms when it comes to the ABSOLUTE LACK of communication between practitioner and patient. I have to find a new provider, was charge extra for asking for the iud, did not receive information on the iud until i called and was told that i would have to buy it (not what Paraguard providers told me) and over all do not trust her clinic. the staff is very sweet but her practice is a nightmare to navigate. 0/10 am canceling my appointment and never looking back"
