"Just had the worst experience at this Marianos by their wannabe mall cop! This guy thinks he’s some tough guy. On my way out of the store my cart locked up at the wheel. I had no idea the carts did this. I honestly thought there was a rock or something blocking it. Only to have this security guy who would not give me his name treat me very unprofessionally! Maybe because he had to do some work to unlock my wheel. This is unacceptable; you don’t treat customers in this manner, absolutely not. I have attached a picture of this clown who works for M1 security . I complained to the Marianos Manager and will be contacting M1 security to make sure they are aware of the type of person they hired. His tone of voice was extremely condescending and rude. I definitely think that your workers need to be trained on tact, customer service, and how to treat people."

"As I was trying to ring bottle of vine (I am 40 and look 40) I was approached and asked for an ID. No problem, I showed my ID and I was told they won't be able to sell it to me because they have to scan it and it is expired! Said ID is still having my DOB on it that doesn't change regardless of the expiration date. I asked for manger who was equally mentally challenged and was adamant and dense as the previous clerk. Long story short, either employees have below room temperature IQ, or government collets info who buys booze or cigarettes to raise health/ life insurance afterwards."

"Terrible experience with the taller older gentleman working in the meat/grill department. Been to this location twice and asked for something to be grilled. Both times has had an attitude, and makes you feel like you are an inconvenience. This is a service that Marianos offers. Never had issues at the Mount Prospect location. Will definitely be traveling 11 miles for better service!"

"my birthday is ruined. i specifically asked the bakery staff the if cake i saw was a chocolate cake in the inside. they pulled out a binder and convinced me it was. i didn’t have anything planned today for my birthday, i just simply wanted a chocolate cake. not to much to ask for right ? when i cut my cake, anticipating a chocolate heaven, it was a coffee flavored yellow cake. it was DISGUSTING. my six year old son even told me he didn’t like my cake. well son, i guess that makes two of us. i didn’t want much this year, just a good cake and i couldn’t even get that. i’m just over my birthday and wish it was over already. i am beyond disappointed. a waste of $35 dollars. seriously. and my son could of wrote on this cake and did a better job."

"I love Mariano's! They are very affordable. They always have great deals! They have a great selection on everything! I haven't tried something I didn't like. Their employees are very nice and helpful. I love coming here. This is my favorite Mariano's. Definetly recommend it!"
