"My daughters love this cool we feel like we are at home the teachers are very nice counselors are very very very very sweet and we moved from Garland to Benfor and this is the first school and Benfor that we realize everyone’s nice also there’s a lot of people from my island a lot of kids that are from the island of Puerto Rico and we get very excited to see our people around I feel like I’m at home"
"I am very disappointed that different students do not get to showcase their talent for the plays. It is unfair that the same student is selected when there are others who want the part. Kids need the opportunity to build their self-esteem and this is not Broadway. The teachers and school are top notch. I give it a 1 star because my son goes here and it has affected him because he missed the opportunity to participate in the play. The same pupil is selected year after year (since kindergarten to currently 3rd grade) as the main character part. I don't blame the student but give other kids a chance."
"The Spanish immersion program is only as good as the teachers. Our child went thru it and we were very disappointed. There is no teacher accountability other than getting ready and stressing the kids about the "big test". This only makes the children very nervous and set them up for failure. The school used to be good but since about 3 years ago there was a real change. Now it seems no one cares about the kids anymore. How sad..."
"A fairly good school, was bullied a lot and nothing seemed to happen about it, finally died off after a certain kid moved away after the 6th grade. Did not like the principal, I do have a couple mad memories of him, but I did like the nurse, real nice and caring, she will do her best to help a child in need."
"Best Elementary school! !! Offers Spanish immersion, Mr. Mengwasser is a great principal. Teachers give the extra and truly care about the students level of education!!"
