"Went there with my dog and please with the small walking loop. Easy to say this isn't the largest park, but I think it does very well with the space it has. The playgrounds were well updated and the talking path is a loop of decent enough size. Even has restrooms that are seasonally available."
"This is a decent park with open space for things like soccer, frisbee, or other similar activities. Bielfeldt park also has two playgrounds: one newer and one older. The older playground is built on top of sand. There are also a couple of trails that you can get to from the park."
"Review Date: August 25th, 2015 Bielfeldt Park… is possibly named after… I really don’t know. There is a local who is on the Michigan Wolverine’s Basketball team. Maybe it’s named after them? Any who, Bielfeldt park is a nice little park located across the street from Poplar Lane Park. This park is pretty spacious, as there is a nice walking trail that goes around most of the park. Could be a great place to run, if you don’t have a track or safe road to do that on. There is a playground that is small and could use some updating. Near that is a gazebo, that could also use some updating. Across from the playground, there is a spacious field that seems to be used for soccer or baseball/softball. If you need a place to walk/run that offers a nice trail, this is the place. If you want to bring the kids to a playground, there are plenty of other options for that in the central Illinois area."
"Great paved path -the sign says 2.5 laps = a mile. The park is clean and well kept. It has a playground, some woods, big open field, covered picnic area, and bathrooms are open from April-September."
"A very nice park for family get-togethers and picnics. The old playground is a bit lacking, but the new jungle gym seems like a difficult level in Super Mario Bros. The paved trail is very nice, particularly for older folks looking for exercise - it provides a very gradual hill. I believe the open field in the center is often used for children's soccer games."
