"Camelot is very nice campground. The design offers easy access to the back in and pull thru sites. The roads and most sites are all gravel. The deluxe sites are concrete and stamped patios. Wifi was very good along with cable and full hookups. Shade is available on many sites. There are many amenities including the lakes for fishing. The complex was very clean and well maintained including of course the restrooms/showers. Campsites were adequately spaced. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. One word of caution: CAMELOT HAS LEFT THE K.O.A. ORGANIZATION SO YOU'LL YOU'LL HAVE TO SEARCH FOR IT WITHOUT THE K.O.A. CATALOG"
"This is such an amazing campground. I wish we had stayed more than one night, but we will be back in a few months for a stopover. This campground is in a great location with minimal highway noise. It was so peaceful. The staff is so much fun. I loved the 50/50 ladies. They were fun. The showers were in separate rooms, which was nice. I did wish the lights were a bit brighter in the showers. The bathrooms were very clean and nice, but there was no hot water in the sink. We walked all around the campground, but it is huge, so we missed some areas. They have a great pool, a mini golf, a nice play area, and a K9 area for your pets. The tent area is really nice. They have paddle boats and a movie screen near the pond. I'm sure I'm missing some things. Oh, they have cabins as well as an area for motorcycles. Thanks for a great time, and we'll see you in a few months. Well, we came back for a one night stop over and again, had a great time. Our site was wonderful, and it was so quiet. Bathrooms were clean and showers very clean. This time, there was hot water in the sink in the bathroom! Staff was again very wonderful. We enjoyed our ice cream on the deck by the lake. So glad we stayed here again."
"The older brunette working the front desk has zero customer service skills. She was rude and condescending. It’s a wonder why people like that who are obviously miserable in their own life take a job where they have to Interact with travelers on a daily basis. She took away from the experience."
"This is a very pretty CG with lots of amenities. We stayed three nights, as we were passing through. The people in the office were very nice and helpful. This large CG has a pool, a hot tub, a dog park, a playground and a lake for fishing. There are lots of TV channels through antenna, and the WIFI is solid. The lots are level. In some areas, there is plenty of room between sites, in other areas, the sites are extremely close together. There are LOTS of full-timers. The pool is often crowded. Even on Sunday, when the CG empties out after the weekend, the pool was crowded until 6 pm. Only adults are allowed in the hot tub, but we saw this rule routinely violated. We had a site on Round Table Lake, and there were beautiful sunsets and it was very pretty. The bathrooms / showers were clean and the showers are HUGE. There is a very nice grocery store down the street 2 miles away. At the office, I asked for a Campground map. They do not give out maps! Although you figure out things pretty fast, we really could have used a map and it was a pain not to have one – e.g., is there a dog park and where is it?, etc. It seemed like a pretty tough crowd camped here. In the three days we were there, we saw people come to fish, and over and over again, people left their litter EVERYWHERE. No one seemed to clean up after themselves, or consider others. We cleaned up the litter, so that we could fish and sit at the edge of the Lake. One of our neighbors had a site that was absolutely covered with children’s toys, debris and junk. Our neighbor, who appeared to be a permanent camper, kept spreading out farther and farther so their belongings extended onto other sites. Another neighbor staked their large aggressive dog out on an empty site right next to ours. Their dog growled at our small shy dog every time we opened our door. The neighbor said “Sorry” each time, but nothing changed. We were relieved when they left. Campers here just didn’t seem to be considerate of others."
"Quiet site for our travel trailer. Staff was nice. Enjoyed watching our grandson catch his first fish, jump on the big jumping pad, and splash on the splash pad. Bathrooms/showers were always clean. Campsites well maintained. We were there for 2 1/2 weeks as we visited and helped care for our grandkids. Would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend!"
